Just the way it is and the markets. The Dow was down about 1000 points in the last 2 days including when the LSE was open today.

Blue Prism (another flier) down 10.9%. Lot’s of red about today.

Looking at the sells this afternoon, I'm not convinced it's a big holder. I suspect some are simply panicked by the wider market sell off and Brexit etc.. This is a shame, timing when to get back in might be a nightmare (at least with this share). No sells from me though, I'm more likely to buy some more!

Very dissapointed tonight. Arrived at hotel and noted no one had helped me out by buying 100k shares.
I thought Log may have seen the light and made the purchase.

All the share price appears to have done today is gone back to test the 20 day moving average on what has been a lowish volume day for VRS, developing higher lows. Sadly moves on IQE or IOF do have an impact on the share price of VRS as there seems to be a lot of interlinked investor/traders.

You do find out eventually that buy and hold is the best strategy, i.e. sell here buy IQE pay for two spreads, price drops on the other sell there buy back here (another two spreads) or get locked in.

NR has made it clear that he is upset about some PI's being 'scared out' of their investment, why would that be I wonder?

It is obvious to me that something is afoot and all we are doing is waiting to hear what it is. Maybe it is the big order that some have been waiting for, hmg needs some good news so no pressure for Matt to deliver on his mission 🤣

Oh dear, 7.3% down. The Blobby will have to think up some other piece of worthless information to put in a RNS. Feed the lemmings.

The markets are having a shocker today as well, so more at play than just fundamentals. I'm sure we wouldn't have dropped as much if there was a big order or supply contract on the books though. All IMHO of course.

Anley,

why is Derek Lowe behind the curve working in the drug world? His blog covers some more general subjects and several of the comments on his graphene blog are from guys working with graphene. I suspect there are more graphene experts there than here!

PS has anybody on here worked with graphene?

Fair enough anley. Indeed, uk standards in lieu of intl iso standards could help in this regard. Investor confidence is key to any industry, and especially in one that is developing and needs equity. It's not like the UK has a national graphene association and the graphene council like the US helping to set standards and drive their industry forward? Instead, we do have vertible institutions, such as NGI and GEIC who entrusted to deliver a 2D industry on behalf of the nation, which represents a considerable government investment. And the NPL tasked with implementing a characterisation service. I am cautiously optimisitic we may have an announcement to coincide with opening of geic next month regarding standards for the UK. It would make sense to do it then. Aimo. Best ellis

ELLISS......thank you for your posts. Interesting but the guy being a Yank and writing years ago is behind the curve working in the drug world and I don't mean to be putting him down.

I will bang on about the IOS certificate issue as this will sort everybody out and in my view stop the posters who think they know more than the experts.
