21/11/2018 08:13 | Food for thought. This company I did work for, has close links to major UK university, employs over 300 people in UK, revenue of over 100million mainly exporting. And got zero help from DIT as they weren't considered big enough to assist. What does that day about vrs potential | ![]() flatcoat1
21/11/2018 08:12 | Loggie bangs on about specifications errors and unrealistic pricing on the part of VRS and Neill‘s failure to answer his queries adequately. What he never does, is try to justify why the Chinese are flying to London to sign an extensive MOU, having deployed their own engineers and scientists to evaluate Nanene to a point where they want to make a massive investment in it’s commercial exploitation. Conversely, if FGR had made the comment - “17 collaborations with some of the world’s biggest companies in multiple verticals were all on track with no problems highlighted”. Would he have said it was suspicious? I would suggest that he would not have done so, unless of course he was shorting FGR. | ![]() ridicule

21/11/2018 08:09 | How does that song go...'you say graphene, i say graphite..blah blah blah'..thing is proposed ISO standards defines 2D materials in terms of laterals AND thickness ! Thus once implemented, it shall give definitive characterisation of products ie 2D graphene versus 3D graphite. Once you realise this, there is no hiding place for 'fake graphene.' It's either graphene or graphite. I have VRS down as 2D materials suppliers at scale. I can't see any others with my laymans eyes. I've discounted geic membership until standards come into play. 21/11/2018 08:00 | About this train or was it 3 guns on a destroyer... So far all I see is a declining share price in the face of extreme promotion, more MoUs and chat and nothing material in the way of sales. I've got a feeling what will emerge from the tunnel will be NR and David Kerr on one of those hand driven carts where you pump them up and down to go walking pace with NR holding a megaphone going Choo Choo. Goood luck. Today should be better for the bulls. --------- Yes flatcoat, they know the train is getting nearer with each day that passes | ![]() loglorry1

21/11/2018 07:54 | @grabster there is no doubt that there are companies selling fake or poor quality Graphene. Nobody has disputed that. It is common ground. It's a big leap from there to state they ALL sell fake Graphene with the exception of VRS. Many companies have all the same qualifications which prove their Graphene is as high quality as VRS. That is University tie ups, membership of GEIC, high quality sales to partners like Ford, Huawei. In fact VRS have been reportedly supplying samples for collaborations which reach back 3 years but have not provided a meaningful update on any of them. It's also interesting that FGR were chosen to supply GEIC/Manchester Uni with Graphene materials over a multi-year deal. There's certainly an argument that VRS Graphene is not the best. It's obviously therefore wrong to assume ALL other suppliers of Graphene are fake although obviously some may be. | ![]() loglorry1

21/11/2018 07:32 | Detractors have tried hard to convince viewers that thread author superg1 is a lone voice in dismissing so many of Versarien's competitors. But it's getting harder and harder to maintain that dishonest pretence. Two months ago, Googling the term "fake graphene" produced few results - it now produces more than 10,000. The world is rapidly becoming aware that most companies claiming to produce graphene are marketing fake graphene. Versarien's detractors are outnumbered not just by VRS shareholders, but by the readership of every publication that has picked up on that recent Nature magazine report. Detractors are going to have to come up with a different argument. They've lost this one. EDIT: If the search is done without quotation marks, there are more than half a million results. | ![]() grabster
21/11/2018 07:25 | Regarding the EV market I have recently done some work for a company which msinly exports is products to China for the manufacture of EV batteries. Therefore they do a lot of market research in this area. As I mentioned the other week this push by governments to stop diesel petrol cars by 2040 was nothing to do with the environment. It was the major car companies doing market research and cost projections and realising the estimated manufacturing cost of a petrol car will be higher than an EV car by approx 2023-2025. Since car manufacturers have to be years ahead in development they are in major catch up not to be left behind. | ![]() flatcoat1

21/11/2018 07:17 | Diversification. Neill reminded us last week that the process was MOU before the JV could be signed and the contract completed. Back in July vrs were already in discussions with at least 5 JV, this could be more now as there were 7 other proposals being discussed, in the Shangdong province alone. So I expect a lot of news coming out now the Mou is signed | ![]() flatcoat1

21/11/2018 07:08 | I have been thinking if their is a correlation between the invesment and progress in batteries and the oil price. I belive the adoption of EV’s is gathering at a pace that the market didn’t allow for. Food for thought. | ![]() diversification

21/11/2018 06:54 | Sit back and relax is my considered advice. Some may ask why which is a fair question. My response is that VRS are ticking all the boxes which will make this company a multiple of the value of today. It is a company of innovation and growth in areas which the world are desperately in need of solutions. Just think of the applications in which Nanene is being trialed, carbon fibre, rubber, chemicals, a host of composite materials and the EV battery storage. Most of these are industry revolutions so the future is incredibly bright for VRS. BTW the DOW is at the same level as it was at the close in the UK yesterday. Also there was a much bigger drop in FEbruary if this year. Try to ignore the trolls. They continuously lie and distort. | ![]() phoenixs
21/11/2018 06:37 | serratia - sorry, disagree. The Chinese have identified in VRS what they consider (and I'm sure they're right) to be world-leading graphene. If they adopt the ISO standard - which most of the c300 Chinese 'graphene' companies (many of them listed) will fail to meet - that might cause a run on the market as investors sell shares in those companies. I doubt they'll risk that. IMO they're much more likely to let those companies just gradually wither on the vine as it is made clearer and clearer that VRS is the real deal and has gov support... | club sandwich |
