Great news, the pieces of the puzzle are getting in place. It's obviously complex, it looks like negotiations involve both govts which brings reassurance and credibility in spades to this unfolding huge opportunity. This agreement with shangdong province brings vrs into the heart of the chinese graphene industry; being a major producer of raw material, and where it is developing as centre of excellence for graphene in china. This degree of organisation, can logically only occur with involvement of chinese govt. Thus in terms of etiquette, jinjan has likely agreed to give way it's lead proposal, and will probably be head of the queue of other interested provinces. We look well placed indeed. In terms of traction in China we are increasing our partners. The second part of today’s RNS is the more important and clearly could well open doors to sales in the future. I also think the timing is interesting, just as Liam Fox heads back to China. There is nothing negative in this update, indeed, quite the reverse.

I don't share that view Clubbie in terms of this update.Whilst I'm as keen as anyone to see revenue come on stream, I'm very buoyed by the only update we have had this far.Perhaps my judgement is skewed by the fact that I've spent time in Qingdao and I know what a powerhouse that city and region is.

Fest - I suspect that, like me, everyone is bored to tears waiting for a China deal to arrive. Personally speaking, I'm not remotely interested in hearing anything more about China unless and until it's an actual signed contract with production targets, an estimate of revenues etc.IAI collab now more than a year old, Unilever (if it is in fact them) approaching the year, > 2 dozen collabs - high bloody time we started seeing some money. No doubting NR's ability at talking the talk - collabs, industry bodies etc etc etc - now he needs to deliver something significant with large £ signs attached to it.

I'm not sure what some of you read, but for me, it was an amazing RNS. Nothing has fallen apart. Imagine what will happen when the deal or the deals are finalised - we asked for an update and got a positive update. I'm still very happy with my holdings and see a big rise coming.
