02/10/2018 15:26 | Most of the press are just idle and wait to be spoon fed. The problem with a large number of UK mid and large cap companies is that they make comfortable forward projections and, hope to beat them by a few percent. There are not many truly dynamic leaders out there. You do not get a kicking if you just meet or beat your forecast, but you do if you have a bold forecast, try but fall short. Then the shorting gangs really have a field day. It does not pay to be anything other than safe. The media have not a clue when it comes to VRS. With our new purchase, we can really shake up this sector. BMW, VW and others are commiting to battery factories and mainly Chinese suppliers. Imagine new batteries that will have a much larger capacity and fast chargeing capability. Some large car companied could end up with egg on their faces with old tech batteries.VRS are involved with game changing technology. | rogerbridge
02/10/2018 15:26 | Sonny, try to think twice about what you are writing before posting comments on this board, then think about it again, delete everything, and go for a walk instead. | mryl
02/10/2018 15:07 | Just a thought- if vrs are to be a big thing for the UK, why haven't the press been instructed to put a little hype out there already? Would strengthen bargaining position surely | sonsonnyjim
02/10/2018 15:04 | Hi Lucky,Sunning it for 2 weeks on the Algarve so no charts from meWhat I would say is the consolidation is playing out nicely and bollinger bands are narrowing - looking likely to tighten up in the next 2 weeks and we know what happens then :) | bootie64
02/10/2018 14:16 | Phoenix - agreed. VRS May get a mention due to DIT involvement but don’t expect a detailed write up. Love to be wrong of course...... | lovat scout
02/10/2018 14:08 | tini5, do not bank on it, so far the press has shown itself to be ill informed and ignorant as to what has been going on in the world of graphene and in particular Versarien. | phoenixs

02/10/2018 13:43 | Good move Shavian on approaching Ian, especially so supplying AGM notes et al. I'm looking forward to Sunday now on what will hopefully will be an insightful piece in the press that'll really bring VRS to the fore. | tini5
02/10/2018 13:42 | Amateur analysis of Neill's tweet suggests to me a China agreement, probably that mou, is very close indeed | sonsonnyjim
02/10/2018 13:39 | Shares safely in HL account. Ready to top up now! | actybod
02/10/2018 13:33 | And of course when a China deal comes, it will only be the *first* China deal - hopefully of many. I hope the RNS announcing it says something along the lines of "We expect other similar deals to follow. We are currently talking to n parties..." Incidentally, watched a vid yesterday about sustainable investing. Apparently one Chinese province will (one day soon) be able to supply enough energy from renewables for the whole country. The plan is to export the rest on a pan-asian power grid. There are 21 provinces... | club sandwich

02/10/2018 13:10 | Google finance is good for tracking the up to date moves Festario, it used to be so much better too but I think it was decided that it was too good for the hoi polloi so they changed it. | luckyorange
02/10/2018 13:10 | Indeed alchemy, it all has to add up somewhere to be a credible claim. Here's a link to an FT article questioning UK's EV leadership ambition. Below is a quote that caught my eye re materials science. Hopefully, it's 2D materials science where UK can lead the world upon, including EV's. And certainly, ease of use/recharge would likely be a massive breakthrough to increase uptake in ev sales. Aimo. Best ellis 'At present the supply of lithium-ion batteries — the most widely used battery type in today’s electric cars — is dominated by companies based in Japan, South Korea and China. These companies have a 20-year lead in battery technology and are spending heavily to stay ahead. The UK has some outstanding scientists in electrochemistry and materials science, but it will take a series of remarkable breakthroughs from British laboratories if Asian leadership is to be seriously challenged." Edit: lets hope the vrs/gnano battery tech is one such a remarkable breakthrough. ! | ellissj
02/10/2018 13:07 | Once that point is reached Alchemy (ultra fast charging)it will change the world, keep our fingers crossed 🤞 | luckyorange
02/10/2018 13:01 | Another small top up, was getting bored sitting on the sidelines :) | haz101 |
