17/9/2018 08:19 | Don't flip, don't trade, don't sell, have no plans to top-slice *any* shares at all until the share price is several tens of pounds - unless I'm forced to by circumstances. Rightly or wrongly I'm a buy-and-hold kinda guy. Was an absolutely disastrous policy in the case of PRG of course (100% loss, total wipeout), but has been very successful in the case of VRS, and I hope it to be a lot more successful still. As to what I'd do with large amounts of cash: once I could hypothetically stop work I'd like to get involved with charities for the homeless and young people. I really don't want to start another political argument, but my own view is that the number of people homeless on the streets of our towns and cities is an absolute outrage (in what we are constantly told is the 6th-largest economy in the world). I used to see dozens of homeless every day on my walk from St Pancras to where I worked at Tavistock Sq, and got to know some of them slightly. Of course some had drink and drug issues, and others had mental health problems - though not nearly as many as you might think or the Daily Mail would have you believe. Most of them were perfectly normal people (mostly men, in my sample), bewildered that their lives had fallen apart, the social services safety net no longer existed, and they'd ended up living on the streets in abject poverty, fear and squalor. Very easy to forget - or be persuaded to the contrary by certain media outlets - that these are human beings deserving of dignity and respect. I haven't looked too closely yet into how I could help, but my thinking is some kind of outreach volunteer work. Here endeth the sermon. | club sandwich

17/9/2018 08:06 | Much of the same with a large spread to start the week. Onwards and upwards. | diversification
17/9/2018 08:05 | I suspect if there are orders after trials from big companies we will not hear what company it is until the product comes out. WHy alert the competition? | runthejoules
17/9/2018 08:02 | As always, the market sets the share price Use common sense. Newsflow this share makes shorting and trading alike problematic imo. Dyor. Best ellis | ellissj
17/9/2018 08:01 | Ridicule we also need us certification confirmed | sonsonnyjim
17/9/2018 07:58 | I agree with you Super the external factors DIT, USA recognition and the sheer numbers of collaborations have changed hope to expectation. We still need the first big sale and it needs to come relatively soon if expectations are to be underpinned. | ridicule

17/9/2018 07:57 | Divers- you are not wrong re current demand. A broker was bidding for blocks all last week. | lovat scout
17/9/2018 07:57 | I only hope nobody will be caught on the "light side" if heavy news come this week. I mean by heavy, contracts and confirmation of orders following successful trials. | fuji99
17/9/2018 07:49 | What sales did QFI have when it was valued at a £400m market cap as a one trick pony? IOF was a little different at £400m market cap but again the sales were insignificant. I believe this still have plenty of room, even before a collaboration update or international expansion. Not saying that I am right but someone is still buying large chunks of stock at these prices which provides me with confidence that the smart money is still around. | diversification
17/9/2018 07:43 | Lucky - agreed ( mostly I think!). Whilst we all concur that VRS has truly great potential, best to keep both feet on the ground. The schadenfreude from the bears will be hard to stomach should there be a setback along the way. I’m not trading VRS however, as even if I think share price has got ahead of itself at any point, the risk of being out when the big news lands is too much. FOMO most definitely. | lovat scout

17/9/2018 07:25 | Re what will you do with your cash ? Aside from seeing my family secure, I will retire asap, but devote one day a week to passing the knowledge and methods i have gained/learned onto others in my profession esp students. Best ellis | ellissj |
