Sure we can chat in person at the AGM later this week. Happy to engage and debate constructively face to face. You are still going aren't you, or is that another one of your lies?

What posts just did a quick scan of his posting history back through the last week of August and nothing other than playground goading tying to get a response.

Perhaps they have been removed.

I don't read it that's why I set up this thread to allow the blocking of the anonymous posters.

If all ignored him then there would be no one reading it and no one replying at which point he'd be talking to himself.

I will have look thought and if it's bad enough seek to get his identity if appropriate.

CS et al. The Bagger Debate

Firstly I think a better baseline for Bagger calculations would be 10p, for two reasons. If you look at the long term chart VRS hovered in the vicinity of 10p for most of the time if was re-inventing itself from hard wearing products into nano materials, so if you like it’s the graphene entry point. Secondly it’s a nice round number easy to remember. Oh yes and thirdly it was my personal entry point, haha.

Now - Bagger nomenclature. Can we standardise on Greek rather than Latin please, and certainly not mix the two, which would be cultural vandalism. I give you the following:

Multiple. Latin. Greek. Value of 10p share

5. Quinquebagger. Pentabagger. 50p
8. Octobagger (both). 80p
10. Decabagger (both). £1
12. Duodecabagger. Dodeccabagger. £1.20
15. Quinquadecabagger. Pentedecabagger. £1.50
20. Vigintibagger. Icosibagger. £2
50. Quinquagintibagger. Pentacontabagger. £5
100. Centibagger. Hecatobagger. £10
1000. Millibagger. Kilobagger. £100
1000000. Megabagger (both). £100,000. (For Clubbie]

Waiting to claim an Icosibagger on my first purchase. My PP is now an average dodecabagger but my ISA is a mere pentabagger. The men in the white coats are on their way...

Dreamtwister is a sick man, I've had him on 'ignore user' for a week or so. He's of no consequence, and needs therapy.

elliss - to be clear, milibag from float price, not current price. but if it ever got to those lofty heights the distinction wouldn't matter much ;-)

Sonsonnyjim. Your post 33409.Providing it is released as an RNS at 7 AM in the morning, a trading statement can be given at any AGM. These are often quite detailed and normally delivered by the chairman. In this case it would be Neill as we have no chairman.

Interesting the way Victrex share price had responded to the revelation that Dyson is using one of its carbon fibre reinforced products.

Seems an overly negative outlook for a man that spent £30k of his wifes money to buy shares in the company. Seems your moral dilemma wasn't an issue when you were making money on your wifes investment.

Ellis, Shavian

I was skim reading to try and catch up with the morning postings, and saw 'Patiently waiting to be further staggered by the share ! Having decabagged !'

In the past I've read about de-risking so wondered if there was some hidden meaning in the reference to cabbages! Couldn't see one so moved on.

Then saw Shavian's 'Decabagged! Now there’s a lovely new word Ellis,' and penny dropped! Lol.

Sorry, got to go, the men in white coats have just arrived...

Thanks for the info pulledpork. Really trying to find out more about IIs and their motivations / MOs after £IQE debacle and not selling some first time we hit 120p, when I shoudl have realised Miton microcaps would be obliged to sell out, it not being a microcap any more. I doubt I would have sold all at 119p & bought back all at 59p but if I'd been paying closer attention I could have a good 25% more shares than I do here. No complaints about £VRS's execution.

superg/run re DEKA. I don't think it really matters but I was interested anyway and tried to find out who might be the buyer. My first guess was that one of their funds for PI might have bought it. Specifically the DEKA INDUSTRIE 4.0 which tries to buy companies that benefit form the so called 4. industrial revolution. However I could only find one UK company in there which is AVEVA.
Their latest half year report was as of end of May so they might well have bought in June. (Their last full year report as of last november also had PRSM but hey must have sold that since then)
Then DEKA also have a lot of funds for II where the holdings won't be published.
Lastly they also act as a standard broker for PI which means it could also potentially be wealthy private investor. So I don't think we can find out but as I said it doesn't really matter.
BTW the above mentioned fund has a holding in Continental as of end of may and in an interview the fund manager used continental as an example of how the industry changes. Continental are already hiring more software developers than classical engineers! And we know Neill was in Hanover to visit them last year...
I have asked The fund manager if he's bought Versarien for his fund but I'm doubtful about getting a response.
