My only concern still is the price of nanene to the customer. No-one knows what this is going to be but I'm assuming it's done on a "cheaper the more you buy basis". I can't see Unilever ordering 600 tonnes of the stuff if it cost £25 a gramme, that would be a £15bn order. The price has to be such as to not affect consumer prices too much in the case of packaging or building materials etc otherwise the companies won't bother. Where the addition of nanene gives them a competitive edge then higher prices must be paid which will trickle down to the consumer who hopefully will pay for the increased performance. I'm fairly confident that worldwide demand will be such that they can sell it for a lot less yet make healthy profits.

Interesting to read ppl stories re entry point. Tbh if I had of stumbled across this share early days I would of been too wet behind the ears to realise the magnitude of VRS, I prob would of been sceptical and unwilling to invest a lot of my £. This would in part been down to being a newbie worried about scams! I really have got an education since July following this B.B. and continue to do so. The research and background info has been invaluable. Would love to get to the AGM to meet a few of you guys but unfortunately I’m in the middle of a house move back into our family home after a renovation and it does not look possible. Anyhow best wishes to all

superg1, I see your point about feeling that you are helping a company directly at IPO or fundraise. Buying shares at other times in the open market and keeping them long-term does also help a company in more subtle ways so I for one don't feel I've done nothing by only finding out about VRS on the day of the Primary bid offer last November and only starting buying the day after :).After all buying and long term holding helps maintain the share price warding off potential takeover at low prices and also ensuring good value of stock if looking for more funds or for acquisitions. Still feel part of the family.

As for what I bought at: started buying at 19.5p, last purchase was somewhere in the 70s (79?). Stupidly I had a minor panic and sold a few thousand in the 30s, 37p I think it was. Regret that now and won't be making that mistake again unless it takes a while to get another contract and money runs short (didn't get the gig I interviewed for Monday. So it goes). If it was up to me I'd prefer to do a remortgage and get some money out to live on rather than sell VRS, but I think my wife might have another opinion.

Still, won't be starving any time soon, and the AGM is a week Tuesday. I hope for some significant news before then...

"But selling VRS shares before the party has even got started will, I believe, sell everyone short."

except the shorts ;-)

If we're even vaguely right with what we think VRS could potentially achieve then no, the party hasn't even started yet. The fairy lights are still being strung up, the dance records sorted and the nibbles laid out. The first guest has yet to arrive...

Pump and dump guys are no better.

A quick example of a crooked CEO.

Investor show some years back I went up and spoke to a CEO, within minutes he was talking in a quiet voice telling me details of big news about to some and a reverse take-over they were doing big this the big that share price will fly.

Yes the share price did fly, it was a ten bagger and then it dropped tenfold. It was BS, but I knew that the moment the guy spoke.

Guess who still pumps that stock today and did back them, good old TW.

Another stock the CEO of that one was telling PIs to buy a certain share. That CEO had a stack of shares held there and while the PIs bought he bailed out big time and the PIs couldn't work out why with all their buying that the share price wouldn't go up.

Who pumped that stock back then and still does today.

No prizes for guessing who.

Blackburn,
Not sure it helps, but I think it was 10p, it may have been very slightly lower, would need to check. But I got in big'ish when the II was selling at 14.5 - 15 (having already previously continued to buy in up to near 25).

It was during the II sale at 14.5 that I persuaded by bro' to take what remained from IOF (90% down) and put it all in here, having already done that myself. His losses on IOF were around £35k, mine were nearer £85k.

Having said that, I had previously done way way better (almost £1m) and subsequently lost almost all of it.

Suffice to say - I am very very sure this one will be a big winner, Although I personally sold half (at around 120) to support what needed supporting at that time, and from now on it is all non essential gain, albeit it will be used to help my extended family long term.

Best wishes - Spike

There's others I'd like to help too.Family members and friends with fledgling or struggling businesses, and certain parts of the NHS which have really helped me.But selling VRS shares before the party has even got started will, I believe, sell everyone short. The underlying strength of the rise, the inability of the price to fall back despite no news, and the non stop buying of any big quantities which come available.... all tell me that we are in early on something very special. If I'm wrong, I'm in good company. If I'm wrong I'll very quickly be divorced and sleeping in shop doorways. It doesn't feel wrong.

Yet again I will comment on something that will probably have others look down on me with a little derision but to me it is an unbelievable post by Festario.

Dunno Pshevlin, ask those people on here that state they have, and do.
Ratpat for example, top sliced further down to help folk.
Fair enough, but they could have helped a damn sight more folk up here.
I want to help my daughter, but I’d rather do it further up this J curve, and after some orders are confirmed."

You haven't been slow to tell people the quantity of shares that you have Festario, which you were fortunate to maintain with the support of some people on here.
I don't know what support your daughter needs and it is none of my business but I have three children and with a similar quantity I would have sold 50% and helped all three of them substantially and still have a significant holding myself.

Encouraging others to hold on to all shares on a significant spike is a danger sign to me and seems like greed and a huge gamble considering the amount involved. It may pay off in the short term, but also in the short term sometimes it is better to give help now than prolong the situation some may be in .

Ratpats post I admired because he was very open has already given that support which has made him Very happy and his child I would assume.

Ultimately of course it is all down to the individual . VRS is a great company but you never know what may be around the corner!

They'll open it on Monday showing 2 or 3p down, hoping to scare some into selling. It didn't work last week or the week before when they did exactly this. They might scare up 30 to 50k from nervous PI's, more if it dips by more before 8.30am.But the buyer, if they are serious, will simply pick them up like they did right up to 192p on Wednesday morning this week.In reality, it doesn't matter, because the share is on a momentum greater than the MMs can control.
