Great reads today, I'm a bit (very actually) jealous at all you guys who bought in sub 20p! Congratulations! I genuinely think that given enough time and if all goes to plan you'll get a 100 bagger and maybe more..?

This is about first mover advantage which VRS have...others will surely follow, don't think we need to be concerned about that.

We have the patents and agreements connecting us with the unis, they exchanged these for shares in the company.

I am not a deramper or a shorter ~ in fact vrs is my largest holding. However I cannot find anywhere anything about the terms 0f VRS's agreement with Manchester and Cambridge Universities.
What is to stop a much bigger player musceleing in when things start to go well?
Can somebody reassure me?

The more I look at the rise we've had this last month, the more confident I am that it's not a spike before a retrace.It is where it is due to incessant buying, and it's no longer us lot doing it.It's someone or something with deep pockets who is looking forward to making sizeable profits on their investment.Every rise since the drop to 60p has been followed by consolidation. I've not seen anything like it outside of FEVR, or GVC.Although this is more rapid than either of those.

Spike & tmoon - re- protocol of AGM. Last year at Kingsholm, Neill closed the AGM and made the point of leaving the room for a few moments. It was he who pointed out that this was to dissociate the presentation and Q&A from the AGM.

He has all said recently that he has been getting behind on emails and other work. Of course they have to plan for the AGM too.

Whilst this is technically correct, what tends to happen (at almost all of the many AGM's I've been to, once official business is complete including reading out the AGM Statement as RNS'd, (they should technically close the meeting but many don't bother to utter those words), what they then do is either a presentation and Q & A's, or just Q & A's.

Actually in many AGM's there is a lot of info that comes out in the Q & A. It won't be immediately price sensitive, if it is (as can happen accidentally) they have to RNS it ASAP that day, and I've seen that happen once. But in the past VRS AGM Q&A's have produced a wealth of useful info':

For instance, we queried how quickly - in reality - nanene will 'take-off' in China. Neill pointed at someone in the third row and said 'you are a bicycle manufacturer, and I am the government that gave you a licence to manufacture bicycles. I tell you that 'tomorrow' your bicycles will contain graphene...... If they don't - you will no longer be a bicycle manufacturer. I think it was this example where Neill also said, not only will your factory no longer be around ..... but you may not either, and he wasn't joking.

I can't guarantee he will be as forthcoming this year, as they have a new NOMAD, we shall see.

NR posted on twitter last week that he intends to update on certain things at the AGM so will need to issue an RNS on the AGM day at the latest. Doesn't of course mean that there won't be other news announced in the meantime and given that we haven't had any news for circa 2 weeks, but given how excited NR was on Monday when meeting in Cardiff, I suspect that there might well be other news ahead of the AGM.

Nothing can be said at the AGM that is not already in the public domain, it is to pass resolutions already proposed. This is to prevent those shareholders not attending the AGM being disadvantaged in any way.
My feeling is that there is quite a lot for shareholders to be updated about ie sales of Nanene and Graphink together with collab's so I think sometime next week or maybe Monday the 24th there will be a company upate RNS or nonRNS.
Just my opinion.

I am not complaining SuperG only would be too pleased if you increased the hours and please send the overtime bill to Neill but it is a pleasure in learning something new from people like yourself and others.
Saying that on Friday afternoon I got into DERR money purely out of my trading pot. It could become exciting at least until 27th and with Sir Sorrell at the helm with £40 million of his money including other prominent shareholders the likes of Nigel Wray and since his bitter departure from WPP and with his midas touch could just light a fuse under the share price.
Please do not think as a pump or an investment advice as I find this board second best to my family.

Doing a bit of ground work today for an assault on the summit of 20k this incoming week, just have a feeling it’s last chance saloon before the AGM...maybe I’m wrong but fortune favours the brave and I’d rather fight on my feet than live on my knees
