Agree that the next few months could be interesting. So much backed up - US accreditation, ISO, China; and doubtless more collabs will keep arriving.The obvious truth is we need a significant order to prove up the business model and get some serious cash through the door - but I'm hopeful that will happen by Christmas or early next year. With 17 collabs one of them has to put their hand in their pocket at some stage, surely? - and hopefully sooner rather than later...

foolishben, can you edit your post: needs a comma (see below) between 'you' and 'but', I sent the same correction to Neill which he noted (he can't edit his):

need to work, to get up early, to work multiple time zones but I do, not because I have to like you >,< but because I love to. I have kids and I want them to be looked after comfortably.Neill Ricketts added,

They are created 1teepee. However in this case in order to be exercised more value must created than is awarded. It really is a win win for NR, CL and the LTHs, assuming the targets are met.

The receiver of the options picks up the tab for the 152p per share and assuming they can sell them for much more in the future, the market picks up the tab for the rest. An exceptionally clever way of incentivising Directors/Staff without effecting the bottom line, aside from a tiny amount of dilution. As I mentioned on Twitter, Amazon and pretty much every other Silicon Valley firm incentivise their staff in this way and things haven't worked out too badly for them.

In October 2017 the following share options were awarded to CEO and the CFO

Neill Ricketts, Chief Executive Officer, and Christopher Leigh, Chief Financial Officer, have each been awarded 2,626,614 Share Options under the Company's Employee Share Option Plan 2013. The Share Options will vest and may be exercised on the following basis:

· One-third on or after 2 October 2020 ("Vesting Period 1");

· One-third on or after 2 October 2021 ("Vesting Period 2");

· One-third on or after 2 October 2022 ("Vesting Period 3").

The exercise price for the Share Options is 15p.

The Share Options may be exercised upon vesting subject to certain performance criteria, principally the Company's average share price in the 30 days prior to exercise being not less than 30p prior to Vesting Period 1 exercise, 35p prior to Vesting Period 2 exercise and 40p prior to Vesting Period 3 exercise.

Compare 30, 35, 40p to where we are now one year on and well, I will let you do the maths :)

Like clockwork. Good response from Neil I think.....

@EasyBrent
@neillricketts who doesn't care about money has awarded himself 2.66m options, great news #VRS more dilution still no significant graphene revenue.

Lol, it isn't for me. I have access to more money than I could ever dream of, I don't need to work, to get up early, to work multiple time zones but I do, not because I have to like you, but because I love to. I have kids and I want them to be looked after comfortably. Neill Ricketts added,

I am currently cruising off the coast of Norway on holiday so not glued to this thread. I agree with those that feel political debate does not belong here. I picked Club sandwich up because he was spreading falsehoods about one of my friends. He then went on to say Jacob was a hypocrite because his firm had launched 2 funds in Ireland. Is CS really saying that all UK business interests should cease any dealings with Europe, given we are leaving the EU? Quite remarkable, we are leaving the EU, not Europe! We need to support Europe after we have left the EU because it is in our interests as well as in their’s to do so.

Others on this thread have called Jacob Rees-Mogg ‘Snooty’. Nothing could further from the truth. I have been at his side when people on many occasions have come up to him and, while shaking his hand,have declared as lifetime Labour voters, they were going to vote for him because he is one the few, approachable, open and honest politicians.

Defence of character finished and I will not raise the BREXIT issue here again.

SG, something doesn't smell right with the guy on twitter. NR said he couldn't find him on the shareholder list.
That is not to say he didn't hold any :)

The Mark guy on twitter is an example of a taker.

An approach like 'I've made some money on VRS and rather than move on I'm going to be negative and pump other shares via twitter.

So I'm going to look at what he is pumping and BBs to see if there is an avatar connected to see if I can work out who not to trust in the future on BBs and any gaggle of followers doing the same.

That may sound odd, but it's something I've been doing for years. I have a long list of posters I know are solid and a longer list of posters I know are full of BS.

I just love digging and TBH the amount I do on VRS has dropped off considerably. No need for now imo the wording of news and comments in interview have me thinking an inflection positive point is in play for the business.

All that news and comments follow on from Matt Walker saying something like, Phase 1 complete now for phase 2.

Then followed keep a close eye on Peter re China updates and prior to that 1 had become 24.

I suspect it's going to be a very interesting H2.

grabster - that is definitely how I read things but whether or not we are right, I think it only makes sense to highlight the possibility that all is not what it seems, then people can make their own mind up. My impression is that a bb is only really useful if you can make a reasonable estimate at most peoples intentions and then filter (not literally) their messages accordingly. Indeed without this, bb's are likely to do more harm to your investing that good.
