29/8/2018 14:37 | Indeed, as the industry organises and dots are joined, vrs will be sitting pretty. Aimo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
29/8/2018 14:32 | Glad the company does work weekends. The company's trading half-year ends one month from now (on a Sunday - 30 Sept) and figures for this period will likely be out in November. Contracts signed between now and 30 Sept might not be expected to generate revenue in time to include in this half year - in which case it doesn't really matter if those are signed after 30 Sept, as both the early and post hy/e ones will all get mentioned in the November statement anyway. But it would be nice to hear that orders from existing collaborations generate actual income in time to be counted. | ![]() grabster
29/8/2018 14:27 | Hope you're right Haz. I need a winner with the price of beer and crisps these days ! 😊 | loveder
29/8/2018 14:22 | haz - true dat. and we might even see a perfect storm of UK IIs and PIs waking up just about when Chinese retail investors can buy into UK companies (and specifically VRS)... | ![]() club sandwich
29/8/2018 14:21 | Lovedar u will take no hurt, once the behemoth that is VRS emerges out into the mainstream and the masses work out what they are dealing with it’s going to go crazy | ![]() haz101
29/8/2018 14:18 | NR, CEO of the Century, without a doubt! | ![]() rocket fuel
29/8/2018 14:13 | The 12828 at 152p is a buy, and Defoe my last! I think.! | loveder
29/8/2018 14:08 | WE are reasonably sure U.S. accreditation is imminent as discussed here recently, i.e. in time for the NGA Nashville Summit end of October. | ![]() spike_1
29/8/2018 14:06 | lovat - you mentioned JV costs, but of course the figures I quoted were direct-to-client supply of nanene, so no JV costs. Of course JV costs would be relevant in any Chinese deal, but I specifically excluded that (and India) from my wild speculations... | ![]() club sandwich
29/8/2018 14:02 | Is that a hint us accreditation is on the way? | ![]() sonsonnyjim
29/8/2018 14:02 | I China you have to work the weekend to get the next weekend off | ![]() 1teepee
29/8/2018 14:01 | Sweet. I have asked a couple of questions to his email direct. So will inform of the answers when I receive them | ![]() 1teepee
29/8/2018 14:01 | CS - caveats all over the place with so many variables! Whilst the business is in high growth mode a 20x profits multiple wouldn’t be outrageous reducing to 15x as growth angle tapers. Profits is only half the story as accounts can be deceptive(lots in the press re big 4 and audits)so needs to be in conjunction with cash flow statements too. Much much much more to be considered of course, including any dividends, and by no means a definitive valuation but DYOR and make up your own minds! | lovat scout
29/8/2018 13:58 | Podcast 13 minutes and 18 seconds in: "That's why we've been keen on accreditation, which is what has been going on over the weekend".... followed by mention of China & US not having bank holidays. | ![]() joeywald
29/8/2018 13:57 | I asked him on Twitter where the vrs video was and he replied 'on the way' | ![]() eel tamer
29/8/2018 13:55 | Well done neill, seeing off the usual suspects on twitter. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
29/8/2018 13:55 | No bank holidays in china or USA our team working hard throughout ... | ![]() hattie1
29/8/2018 13:55 | For those who follow the deals............. AECOM have an office in Cambridge (UK) which is looking after the vast new development......it is called the North West Cambridge Development Plan and its big......schools, housing, shopping and all the infrastructure such as roads etc. The development started in 2013/14 and will not be finished for at least another year or two. I think that is the biggest deal VRS have done so far and no one has picked up on that and its global. | ![]() anley
29/8/2018 13:50 | Neill confirmed last podcast, more collabs in the pipeline. Great potential china. Usa. Uk, geic opening soon. And europe ? All to play for here imo. Best ellis | ![]() ellissj
29/8/2018 13:46 | Far prefer the positive share price predictions to the prattish political pontifications. Back on topic, I think Versarien is already proving very nicely that it is well capable of thriving outside Europe ;-) | ![]() senden11
29/8/2018 13:41 | lovat - so what does such a profit-based pricing model look like? Gwaaaan - throw some numbers at me ;-) | ![]() club sandwich
29/8/2018 13:38 | thanks whiteslice. NR not first on the podcast - outrageous! ;-) about 10mins in... | ![]() club sandwich
29/8/2018 13:36 | By the sounds of it, there are more collabs than we are aware of | ![]() 1teepee
29/8/2018 13:36 | CS - as you say it’s all a stab in the dark regarding price, revenues and profits for any of VRS’s 2D products at this stage. All I would say is that should the revenues get to the £1bn stage, VRS will be generating good profits after JV and any other royalty payments(unless there’s a problem!). On this basis m/c needs to be profit related rather than revenue -imho of course! | lovat scout |
