10/8/2018 16:13 | I do not know why people are engaging with JakNife and others. They have an agenda and are not interested in or invested in VRS. They have a point of view, I believe long term holders have a different one. No amount of taking is going to change anyones mind. | ![]() rogerbridge

10/8/2018 16:08 | Well the bears have just about had their silly season chips and it seems have failed to dent the share price despite being hard at the coal face for the last couple of weeks. I strongly suspect they will get fried next week as people get back to work and news begins to flow again. I suspect they feel this too, hence the increased efforts to get a close on their shorts. | ![]() clint fleecewood

10/8/2018 15:54 | Published today. Apologies if already posted (been out till now and skimmed thread very quickly to catch up with 175 posts). Versarien partner WMG gets a mention. So does the National Composite Centre in Bristol (where I vaguely recall a Versarien connection?) The WMG bit: | ![]() grabster
10/8/2018 15:51 | Campbed. There is a huge difference between raising genuine concerns about a company as an investor or potential investor and spamming a B.B. with speculative unfounded trash because either SG1 has upset you or you are short. I think you know that. Filtered Edit - sorry Phoenix our posts crossed but agreed | tim3416

10/8/2018 15:48 | campbed, I have never had a problem when people ask questions and put forward contrary opinions about a company. The problem that I have is when people lie and continue to do so in order to promote their position/views. That applies not only to traders in stocks but also to those who are on the boards of companies who put out blatant lies about their companies in order to criminally profit at the expense of investors. BTW Your reasons for investing in VRS are ones with which I concur. | ![]() phoenixs
10/8/2018 15:47 | It seems the CEO of Tesla may be prosecuted for possible tweeting false info causing the share price to increase. On Bloomberg there is a movement to ban tweeting by Ceos of companies and that all info should be in the form of a RNS.I am in full agreement with this. | draytonpark
10/8/2018 15:47 | That's a reasonable post and summary, Campbed - thanks. Don't be disappointed about the reaction to JaKnife. Whether he was a serious private investor in the past, is neither here nor there; his metamorphosis into the worst kind of Kempsteresque shorter (in his various guises), not just on this board, but on dozens of others, is not appreciated. His faux-surprise and hurt at the reaction he gets is mainly because he is publishing garbage, and pretends not to hear or absorb the simple fact that graphene is manufactured and supplied in different formats; he ignores any evidence, and just plugs his fake idea that graphene is graphene, and can't deal with the fact that Nanene is not just any graphene, and other manufacturers' products are not of the same specification, and therefore any sale figures are irrelevant. He's fully aware of what he's up to, and it's annoying for most of us that he's around at the moment, which, of course, will spur him on in the short-term. Like others of his ilk, he'll get bored and disappear. He's the only one of a very small handful of 'toxic elements' here (his 2nd most-favourite accusation of long-standing board members), and my concern is that newcomers are going to take his remarks at face-value. No-one has the slightest objection to honest probing into VRS's current and future valuation, but it's the one thing that he's not going to provide. | ![]() axotyl
10/8/2018 15:40 | campbed, could I ask why you think we are likely to be overtaken? Am I right in thinking that you mean another company will do it bigger/better rather than that there will be a takeover of the company? "The process is still being developed but I’m confident that the process VRS has ownership of is the current state of the art. But it is likely to be overtaken . | ![]() woodpeckers
10/8/2018 15:25 | Back to the SGX prospectus dated 26 June 2018......... I notice the auitors are in Tampa FL and the offices in Michigan so why not local well known ones in say Detroit? Accumulated Deficit of $47m and the 2017 Annual Loss of some $6.5m Now we could go on and on and pull this company to bits but I think that everyone posting and reading would not be interested so we will stop here. However, one last question Has Samsung paid its money for any exercise of its granted options? | ![]() anley |
