Festario,

I believe there were two chemical companies in the Fortune 100 on December 2017 when the RNS was issued but Dow bought DuPont (which was the other one and that answers my own question to Tipee) in March 2018.

Graphene enters the stratosphere

A team led by Professor Barbaros Özyilmaz from NUS CA2DM coated a single layer of graphene on a substrate, and the experiment was placed in the payload enclosure of the ‘Wayfinder - Mini’ CubeSat. Credit: Boreal Space
The Centre for Advanced Two-Dimensional Materials (CA2DM) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) has teamed up with US-based aerospace company Boreal Space to test the properties of graphene after it has been launched into the stratosphere. The results could provide insights into how graphene could be used for space and satellite technologies.

Taken from the SGX prospectus..............not sure what has subsequently happened so perhaps we could be told by Jaknife.

The Dow Chemical Company.
On December 21, 2016, the Company announced it has closed an agreement with
The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE: DOW) for up to a $10 million senior credit facility, which may be drawn down in tranches by XGS at its discretion through December, 2019.

For the first 2 years, interest on funds drawn under this facility may be accrued and added to principal at the Company’s request. The credit facility is secured by the assets of the Company, and XGS has agreed to issue warrants for 20% of amounts drawn under the facility.

Such warrants will have a strike price equal to the last price per share at which the Company issued equity capital prior to any advances under the credit facility, which is currently $8.00 per share in the Company’s ongoing self-underwritten Initial Public Offering.

Hi,
I was trying to find a table/list or such of the Graphene Council's 'Verified Graphene Producer' certified producers.
I realise this will be empty untill we get VRS as the first entry, hopefully.

I think such a link to a list would be VERY useful so we can all keep an eye on who the competition is, the quality of their material etc.
Any ideas were this may show? Maybe a good question for NR.

xg sciences

mikes post yesterday.

appreciate a kicking of the investment thesis tyres! In relation to XG sciences they don’t make few layer graphene but nano graphite which means for any applications needing structural / strength needs they fail - see independent study here hxxps://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S026635381732482X

As they have been around for 15yrs they have more sales

Sorry pressed send to early!! The sales XG Sciences make are mainly testing samples - where they are likely making progress with their nano graphite is in areas like batteries providing their graphite (same as talga et al + VRS recent collaborations show there are greater improvements when using their Nanene vs graphite)and coatings (anti flammable / corrosive). Unfortunately they are competing with 400+ companies globally who can do the same so no pricing power. The thing to really look for are independent scientific studies of a companies “graphene̶1; as this sorts the wheat from the chaff and XG unfortunately have shown the latter.

and yet the ADVFN app says volume is high. You couldn't make some this stuff up. Is NR still in Turkey, if not I think we are in for a Monday RNS

I think we saw two, at the time, but it's immaterial because it's ongoing and hopefully will soon become a firm commitment. In the meantime, it looks like we are heading for an all time low volume day. They haven't dropped the price either, that's always a good sign.

Not DOW.

As I recall only 1 US chemical company was in the Forune 100 at the time of the news. That's why we said it was and is DOW.

People seem bored because of no price action. No doubt, sitting is boring. We feel oblige to do something and that is why many quit before the ride starts.

if you just stand back and look at the pace we are moving at it seems quite incredible.

from grammes..to

"ordered additional equipment that will see our graphene capacity reach a maximum of almost 3 tonnes."
we have big orders upon us..just keep the faith.

nothings changed, neill still has his outstanding vision and leadership.

look forwards.
