09/8/2018 20:05 | ax/john - if jak really is bright, he will have seen that we have good support at 120 and volume is very light. It doesn't take an Einstein sized brain to realise that he's not going to get in much cheaper.. | ![]() woodpeckers
09/8/2018 20:04 | Just a quick thank you Mike (and SG) for conveying the basic science of graphene understandable. I readily admit that I still don't fully understand, got my head around a fraction of the more detailed aspects yet - never will. I suppose all I need to know is that it works and that its going to be globally disruptive. Thank you again for sharing your know how. | anotherdrink
09/8/2018 19:56 | Maybe Jak is already short with his head well under water and is trying reduce his losses? If he was to close his position and invest long with Versarien he might be able to recoup some of his losses, but maybe he isn’t psychologically able to do that? | ![]() johnveals
09/8/2018 19:46 | The thing about the shorters is that they are facing unlimited losses. | ![]() johnveals
09/8/2018 19:46 | Woody, I'm inclined to agree, but there's a chance that Jak is bright enough to work out that VRS is worth long-term consideration; narrow odds, I'll concede. In the meantime: Implicit theories of online trolling: evidence that attention-seeking conceptions are associated with increased psychological resilience. 09/8/2018 19:40 | The simple question is what you're trying to say, Sonny? | ![]() axotyl
09/8/2018 19:38 | I don't understand the question, simply wondering when the shorters will give up.. | ![]() sonsonnyjim
09/8/2018 19:38 | Don't know if anyone has noticed but the likes of Jak only post when news goes quiet for a while and they know that they'll get attention because we're all just hovering around the board. He's a pure attention seeker as far as I'm concerned. He has nothing to add but knows that by giving the contradictory view, he will get the attention he craves... sad really. | ![]() woodpeckers
09/8/2018 19:30 | "I'm assuming once us cert and a deal gp through eg someone like Nike" Give us a clue, SonSonny? | ![]() axotyl
09/8/2018 19:26 | At what point do the shorts give up? I'm assuming once us cert and a deal gp through eg someone like Nike | ![]() sonsonnyjim
09/8/2018 19:23 | jeez..you boys are getting absolutely desperate. you must feel there's big news coming soon..just as we do nice post mike. | ![]() jointer13

09/8/2018 18:58 | dgduncan. On the certificate 25531 I agree with you and I do not think that this is going to be properly resolved until we get ISO DTR 19733 in place probably at the end of the year. I know that NR said that it was imminent a few months ago but he was being over optimistic which is why he has now opted for the Graphene Council Verified Producer Program. I am not sure how valuable this will be but I guess it is better than nothing. I would have preferred a GEI/NPL certification now that it is being rolled out. Getting this whole area of certification sorted is a major requirement for commercialisation but we are in the hands of the relevant ISO Committee and this is not being led by the UK (led by Korea and the USA) although we are a major contributor of course. I suspect that there are commercial interests lobbying the relevant committees to make sure their interest are taken into account which adds to the delay. | ![]() jkok1
09/8/2018 18:56 | It's pretty obvious both here in this forum and twitter that shorts are getting desperate :) | ![]() bootie64

09/8/2018 18:32 | Sorry pressed send to early!! The sales XG Sciences make are mainly testing samples - where they are likely making progress with their nano graphite is in areas like batteries providing their graphite (same as talga et al + VRS recent collaborations show there are greater improvements when using their Nanene vs graphite)and coatings (anti flammable / corrosive). Unfortunately they are competing with 400+ companies globally who can do the same so no pricing power. The thing to really look for are independent scientific studies of a companies "graphene" as this sorts the wheat from the chaff and XG unfortunately have shown the latter. | ![]() mikebrenner
09/8/2018 18:24 | jkok1 - I have not found any info regarding who awarded the certificate or what their qualifications might be. Sounds a bit dubious to me. | ![]() dgduncan
09/8/2018 18:23 | JakNife - thank you for sharing some alternative views on this board. I personally appreciate a kicking of the investment thesis tyres! In relation to XG sciences they don't make few layer graphene but nano graphite which means for any applications needing structural / strength needs they fail - see independent study here https://www.scienced | ![]() mikebrenner |
