26/7/2018 22:22 | The point of posting those is to highlight the frustrations being experienced :- They have many more patents than any other country yet can't produce graphene in the quantities that they want. They need an environmentally friendly non polluting method to produce it. They are appealing to the Government for support. Behind the US, that just won't do considering the tariff discussions. They see it as the next industrial revolution and want to kick start the industry. Of course VRS has what they want and maybe we don't give enough credence to the environmentally friendly process that VRS has, maybe we should! Not sure if the Global Chemical Major added it to their portfolio of products for environmental reasons as well but seem to remember a discussion about it at the time. | ![]() luckyorange
26/7/2018 22:02 | The disruptive technological revolution has made graphene attractive in all fields. 2018-07-24 16:41:23 China Investment Network China is not only synchronizing with international research in graphene research, but also has a huge market space for graphene applications. With the breakthrough discovery of graphene and the continuous expansion of civil fields, cooperation Policy support and capital investment, the industry may usher in the turning point of industrialization. I could post many more.... but I won't lol | ![]() luckyorange
26/7/2018 21:50 | Agreed luckyorange !! The shorters just seems desperate . It is as you say embarrassing . That’s how it looks to me and it seems others too . Gla Ff | forestfred
26/7/2018 21:49 | This one will mess with your head reading it but you should get the gist of it. In addition, Hong Kong Graphene Technology Innovation R&D team will also work closely with relevant industries in the Mainland, and plan to promote the standardized production lines to dozens of graphene industrial parks across the country to achieve pollution-free, low-cost, large-scale production of graphene in the country; actively explore support The development of upper, middle and lower reaches of graphene in Hong Kong, and make a systematic and forward-looking policy plan. Under the possible conditions, the upper, middle and lower reaches of graphene will be resettled from research and development to application to the Science Park or the future. In the Hetao area, the graphene industry is supporting Jackie Chan and developing in depth; assisting the Graphene International Industry Alliance to settle in Hong Kong; formulating a "specialist program" to attract international and domestic graphene technology professionals to come to Hong Kong; supporting "Hong Kong's economic transformation by dreams To the Reality - The Advanced Seminar on Graphene New Materials Revolution was held in Hong Kong to promote the education of graphene science. | ![]() luckyorange

26/7/2018 21:37 | China's graphene industry innovation and development should be more revolutionary Thro It can be seen that the launch of the flagship project in Europe and the strong support for graphene research and development are important reasons for the continuous emergence of European innovations. Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Professor Liu Zhongfan of Peking University also expressed the same view. He pointed out that European research institutions and enterprises have invested heavily in basic research on graphene, and the government's high-intensity support for innovation and development has also made graphene in electronics. High-end fields such as devices and biosensors can truly make their magical effects. Therefore, the alliance also calls on the state to give more support to basic innovation and applied research, open the door to graphene disruptive technology research, and make our graphene industry development more revolutionary. Interesting that they have the US ahead of them? | ![]() luckyorange

26/7/2018 19:48 | I have seen some dodgy claims by shorters, but the ones targeting VRS are just embarrassing, it's a strange situation where I feel embarrassed for them and the absolutely ridiculous claims and statements they make. Why they continue is beyond me because it shoots their credibility to pieces with their poorly orchestrated attacks as a team. That is where Neill on twitter and the bb's come in useful, to provide the actual facts and not the fiction they are trying to create. It is all a risk but shorting should not require the time and verbal attacks at all , just short when a company is overbought and buy back when oversold , too easy maybe and they need to make it complicated? | ![]() luckyorange

26/7/2018 19:25 | Thanks SG, looks like I have a lot of catching up to do! NR's enthusiastic talk for the future couldn't possibly be limited solely to nanene. All starting to make more sense:). | cookiejug
26/7/2018 19:22 | To add. Much of the info I get now comes from various sources. Some don't post but down the years I've picked up a number of trustworthy sources worldwide. The good guys of this world. Some are really handy guys to know, in many ways. | ![]() superg1

26/7/2018 19:00 | cookie Hbn is one Hexagonal boron nitride which in time could be exciting. It has the best thermal conductivity and I believe uniquely has that attribute while being an electrical insulator, so fantastic for electrical insulation while dissipating the heat. VRS have launched that, Hexotene The other definitely in the VRS court is Molybdenum Disulphide. 26/7/2018 18:46 | I'm sure NR mentioned in one of the recent podcasts, and seemed excited by, the fact that the universities are looking at over 20 further 2D materials. The RNS regarding Stephen Hodge stated he would be researching graphene AND other 2d materials... that's the most interesting recent news for me. Does anyone know anything about the nature of those materials? I'm assuming that as nanene has been patented and scaled up there must be scope for the team to work on other materials? | cookiejug
