For those that can't be bothered to read the last post.

The Miton holding on their last RNS was 7.2 mill shares. From Mitons own data we can work out that by the end of June it was about 4 mill shares.

That covers the supply I've been going on about.

There are other sources I use but that route shows it publicly via Miton fact sheets.

So if Miton have as as active in July (I suspect they have) then they don't have many left considering they had near 15 mill shares just months back.

Jak there are two specific funds here the VRS shares were/are held.

The Miton Microcap trust where the fund value is just over £100 mill of which end of June VRS formed 1.6% of the holding (I'll come back to that).

The other one is the UK smaller companies fund total fund value of about £200 mill.

As they had near 15 mill shares at one point the value at £1.20 would have been £18 mill which is far too heavy a share of the load for such small funds.


Back to the microcap trust. At the end of May the holding value of VRS was 1.9% of the fund. The end of May price was 86.5 p.

The end of June share price was 126p and the value of the holding is now 1.6% of the fund.

That tells me the Miton trust fund sold shares in June from that fund.

All things being equal on value the 1.9% would have gone to 2.8% but it's showing as 1.6%

On the holdings news about 2.75 mill are shown as left held by the trust fund. The 1.9% May figure gave a holding of about 2.35 mill.

The now 1.6% end of June 126p share price gives holding of about 1.27 mill shares.

So Miton sold 1 mill shares from that fund in June it seems.

VRS do not feature in the top ten holdings of the smaller company fund.

Number 10 is shown as 2% of the fund (£4 mill value).

Miton on the holding update had about 4.5 mill shares, multiply that by the 126p end of June price and you have a value of about £5.7 mill. Yet VRS don't appear in the top 10 where number 10 is £4 mill.

So that tells us they also sold some for that fund. To get below £4 mill it would have need to be about 3 mill shares.

So that tells me Miton had 7.2 mill shares and at the end of June had about 4 mill shares.

The June data sheet has only just come out for Miton. It's public data for PIs here. Other data sources are available.

And, if the dash to Spain was in connection with new machinery it would signify that the equipment is needed PDQ.

Think it's just a buyer who's happy to wait for these levels to buy. News may be soon but don't think a rise to well below ATH means it is, especially as that would infer insider knowledge

I'm not saying it's imminent (though of course I hope it is) but it will be the most enormous relief for all concerned when the first order of any real size appears - except for the shorters, of course, but they deserve what they're going to get...
