22/7/2018 22:20 | The clothing apparel collab is testing in full production mode at the moment. Get through that and they can go into full production with a machine set up in Asia. | ![]() owenga
22/7/2018 22:12 | CS, To quote Paul Daniels.... "Not a lot" | ![]() battery
22/7/2018 22:09 | Turbo, If you are a Twitter user could you please post that on Neill's web page (or whatever it's called). If not could someone else please post it. It's priceless. Shows him for what he is. | ![]() sandbag
22/7/2018 21:43 | Getting embarrassing now as stated by Tina. They are damaging the reputation of credible shorters lol. Of course it is the impending rule change and they will be hopeful that there is no RNS in the offing. Dr Tina Bass @TBassCoventry Replying to @neillricketts The Tim & Kevin show is getting ludicrous but bordering on the tragic too. It is shameful for adults (erm assumption!?) to be simultaneously so ill-informed & so public in their ignorance. 10:01 AM - 22 Jul 2018 | ![]() luckyorange
22/7/2018 21:43 | Battery - what's the turnover? So 'owner' is actually rather a grandiose term since he's also tea-boy, letter-opener, book-keeper and washer-upper?And his wife is company secretary, you say? Sure HMRC would love to know about that - they take a very dim view of such arrangements these days. Might be worth an anonymous letter... | club sandwich
22/7/2018 21:40 | Twitter info => LinkedIn info => Co. House info | ![]() battery
22/7/2018 21:39 | You can find out about Thinking Machines on companies House.. 1man band contractor that employs his wife as co secretary. Annual accounts are there too. | ![]() battery
22/7/2018 21:32 | Give him some stick - it's worth the satisfaction even if he blocks you.I wonder if Thinking Machines has a Twitter account? Maybe potential customers should know what the owner is really like... | club sandwich
22/7/2018 21:29 | Hey CS, you’ve unblocked me over on Twitter 😮 I was going to give Dim Tim some stick but if he blocks me I will lose a good source of entertainment. | ![]() johnveals
22/7/2018 21:19 | Chimpandy The kit won't need modifying before production and will have already been tested for viability. Modification going forward could include monitoring facilities etc re licensing agreements and the like. Being an enineering company they may well identify enhancements or modifications etc. | ![]() superg1
22/7/2018 21:19 | sonson - with a company that has as many product lines as DDP it could be literally anything, so pointless to speculate IMO... | club sandwich
22/7/2018 21:18 | Wonder what the chemical collaboration is for specifically | ![]() sonsonnyjim
22/7/2018 21:16 | The narrative just gets more compelling, but it happens when it happens and goes as high as it goes. I don’t expect to be disappointed. | ![]() johnveals
22/7/2018 20:59 | So DDP and Nike/Adidas/Whoever. Worth waiting for - maybe we'll get an order by year-end as a nice Christmas present... ;-) | club sandwich
22/7/2018 20:49 | CS, believe it's the global chemical major and global apparel manufacturer who are due to share results from their testing. That would potentially be positive but may not lead to a big order just yet. Testing may have just been for proof of concept prototypes but which then would hopefully lead to bigger still. Baby steps. Then again, I may be talking rubbish, I have no idea how large manufacturers introduce new lines! Just supposition. | ![]() tini5
22/7/2018 20:31 | I hope the shorts are taking the time to stock up on this!https://www.cos | ![]() chimpandy1
22/7/2018 20:24 | My thoughts exactly club. We have no idea when the machines were ordered. They could arrive next week for all we know, though I believe it will take a bit of time to modify them/test them prior to production. | ![]() chimpandy1
22/7/2018 20:16 | Fest - I don't much care. Anything that puts Dim Tim back in his box is to be welcomed... | club sandwich
22/7/2018 20:15 | redchef - all undoubtedly true, though that extra testing down (with lower-cost/quality alternatives) will take time and risk losing a first-to-market advantage... | club sandwich
22/7/2018 20:14 | Interesting that Waseem Shak, (Wshak on ADVFN), has commented on Tim's business. He's the chief troll on TERN.So, I doubt he's actually used Kempster's services, therefore we now have TROLLS, TROLLING TROLLS! | ![]() festario
22/7/2018 20:13 | I think to understand the situation with collaborations and orders you have to consider the mindset of the customers. They will enter into the collab on an R&D basis to prove concepts using the highest quality available (Nanene) and to use VRS' knowhow to develop their product prototypes. But Nanene is expensive so naturally once the PofC is working they will experiment downwards with lower quality and cheaper materials, not necessarily supplied by VRS. Some applications will not work with the lower quality Graphene so they will come back and place orders, others will have been happy with the Consultancy provided. Hence why VRS are also exploring getting into manufacturing end products as well as continuing to supply Consultancy and Higher quality Graphene | redchef
22/7/2018 20:12 | Chimp - yep. They wouldn't ramp up capacity if they didn't think they'd need it some time soon. They've *ordered* extra capacity - which I believe takes c. 12 weeks to arrive. Is that a clue, I wonder, to when the first order might drop? Tho of course we have no way of knowing when the order for the extra/new machines was placed...? | club sandwich
22/7/2018 20:05 | Sonsonnyjim VRS must be pretty confident for them to scale up to 3T | ![]() chimpandy1
22/7/2018 20:01 | Aw, poor little Timmy blocked me on Twitter after I sent him those reviews from Yell and Thomsons. Clearly he can dish it out but he can't take it. What a sad, pathetic little loser... | club sandwich |
