Ellis - nice thought but can’t see any benefit for NR. No one will get close to Trump apart from a select few and I doubt Trump has even heard of graphene unless it’s in his hair!

Re Trump visit : towards the end of the below article, I see there's a black tie event at blenheim palace tomr night with 100 guests invited, including ministers and industry leaders.
Given the title of this thread, it suggests VRS is a bona fide industry leader in graphene and likely other 2D materials. And there is also a US dimension here, given Neill is the inaugral member of the graphene council, sitting within the (US) national graphene associaion. Which is a rare honour for any industry association in the USA i suspect, as it would be in this country. Logically, i wonder if this means our boy has a sniff of an invite ? Aimo. Best ellis.

Great about time they realise the EU isn't run purely for their benefit

Curtain T, certainly worth a sentence or two during our walk around the golf course at Neill's charity tournament in Sept.

Incidentally it is open to non golfers (reduced cost) to walk the course and chat to Neill, or indeed, just turn up for the Dinner I believe.

Cheers - Spike

mikeb - yes I'm sure you're right, Neill has talked of wanting to get into more of the supply chain and in particular actually manufacturing composites.

I haven't looked into exactly what they are planning to divest, but certainly we would need a production partner (current staff?), and an enormous amount of capital funding if we wanted to take over the business - depending on what is on offer.

And thanks Scruts ;0)

Best wishes - spike

I am sure Neill would be aware of this, it ticks a few boxes.

Personally think this could be a v interesting play for VRS esp this part to help test and scale the graphene supply chain

Folks this is a VRS thread ... if you want to talk about other companies and shares you are investing in there are other boards. Fed up with sifting through TERN posts!

Scruts - I doubt anyone would ever deride you or your views.

As for MGAM, it's not a question I can answer - sorry.

Best wishes - Mike

I may well be derided for posting something already known but can I suppose that Neill is well aware that Morgan Advanced Materials (MGAM) has decided to divest itself of its downward trending 'Composites and Defence Systems' division.

It might well make a good fit at least in speeding the commercialisation of new markets for Nanene.

Have I missed something? Earlier the majority of my holdings were blue. I take the dog out for a walk and return to a sea of red!!

Out now for a couple of hours, will look around when I get back!

If superg1 does or says wrong, that doesn't make it right. Applies to all.

I agree with you grabster. Perhaps we could ask superg, since it's his thread, to make a 'ruling' on this topic once and for all?

Festario - that ain't nice!
There's nothing to stop you and others launching your own TERN thread, rather than rudely subverting this VRS one.
