09/7/2018 22:51 | My 150hp Ducati flattens off tyres pretty quickly and ruins the handling, you just can't use the performance on the roads when leant over on the side of the tyre to even up the wear, it even happens with dual compound construction where the centre of the tread is a harder compound than the shoulders. Adding Nanene to the centre would be an obvious benefit for minimal cost I would have thought. | johnveals
09/7/2018 22:41 | The average car tyre weighs between 7 & 9kg - This worried me because even a 1% loading of graphene would add about 70 - 90g of product at possibly £1-2 per gramme? - Not great Fortunately modern tyres much more complex than a shaped big blob of rubber - Not sure what the weight of the finished wear tread layer is but only a smallish fraction of the whole it seems - Brings Graphene back in from the financial cold i reckon Never knew tyre manufacture so complex | pcjoe
