Apologies if already posted but for those that hadn't seen it ZapGo's most high profile project is the driverless pods at Heathrow. I've used the pods a few times and been really impressed with the whole system but hadn't realised there was such cutting edge battery technology being used.

ZapGo's C-ion cells work alongside traditional Lithium-ion cells in the pods. The C-ion cells are rapidly charged at the charging station and then transfer the charge to the Lithium-ion cells as the pods are in operation. The C-ion cells charge in just 35 seconds.

This recent article provides some details:

It also includes the following statement:

'ZapGo is currently in talks with automotive suppliers to supply such systems, Voller said, but could not reveal which suppliers.'

Think how much more we'll know about VRS a week on Monday. Historical figures, forward looking statements, further visions of the scope of disruption.

Definitely a movement of stock from retail into institutional hands.

Almost certainly offshore buyer(s) exactly whom it is not sure at this point.

Should become apparent with time.

CS - thanks for showing the post. I was too busy yesterday to see it before it was moderated. I was curious as to the content as it could have been a bear but now I know. A despicable person.

CS, I think a quick summary such as 'vile rubbish' would have been preferable. Why don't you edit your post to remove it?
