I see there are some uproots developing form those guys

I was quite surprised to see chart that shows they have ink related graphene as near term EG they have a chart showing, RFIDs, smart packaging,EMI shielding (plastics) and chemical sensors all heading towards early market penetration ,then later they state.

The market will be segmented across many applications, reflecting the diverse properties of graphene. In general, we expect functional inks and coatings to reach the market earlier. This is a trend that we forecasted several years ago and is now observed in prototypes and small-volume applications. Indeed, IDTechEx Research projects that the market for functional inks and coatings will make up 21% of the market by 2018. Ultimately however, energy storage and composites will grow to be the largest sectors, controlling 25% and 40% of the market in 2027, respectively.

SG, Is Morgan's interest for electrical properties or mechanical? They are very diverse but my guess is as a logical extension to their electrical carbon business.

Gerry Boyce had 402792 shares following the Subscription and the Fundraising.
See RNS 2Nov2015.
Don't know how many he's sold other than those in the recent two RNSs.

Re te Haydale sale, muppets apart, surely the RNS should have shown how many shares he still owned after the disposal?

Yes that's why I was curious about that header but also warn against some web muppet playing a trick.

The Fund bit and French lady is from Linkedin searching.

Relevant folk form Morgan Advanced Materials and one from MacNeillie have popped up recently on the VRS business development manager's profile on LinkedIn.

Just trawling may be nothing but I do wonder why relevant folk and companies pop up alongside some very obvious connections.

Well for the chart guys taking the grey matter way back I recall the cup and handle chart as one of the most bullish of the lot.

Something about a long bowl as it dips and comes back up, hits the rim then drops back for the handle but the completion of it is a strong break (with noise) above the rim. That would have to be news driven I assume.

Such a chart would also get Zac waffling on if it happened.

Just for caution (I don't know at this time). It could be some muppet setting up the web page for folk like me to find and it's false.

"I see that there is an RNS out this morning by Haydale showing the managing director has sold 108 thousand shares at 170. Not exactly a ringing vote of confidence?"

And same guy sold 13,500 a week ago. The 108k doesn't show up on today's dealings though...or does it have to?

MR BT

It works but no video linked just a title. The page appears to have been set up earlier today.

Rid 2nd sale by him but much larger this time and as you can see you by the vote button you are not allowed to mention Haydale the kids on here don't like it they can't hit the vote down button fast enough.

Could be any reason for the sale.

I've had a quick look at the directors talk list and can't find anything like the title.

I've tried searches on previous titles and they take me to the relevant web page. All the title in the last post takes me to is that one web page.

It's as if if been set up waiting for a video/interview or the like. It didn't come up on google alerts it was just a trawl.

We'll have to wait and see if it's a false alarm dud or something behind it to come.

I can only guess on this and perhaps a red herring but an early morning trawl turned this up

Titled

'Versarien Plc Beginning to speed up since final quarter.'

The web page suggest it only went on 4 hours ago but there is nothing to view yet.

Could be nothing at all but the final quarter ended 31st March.

CEO off to Mexico for FAMEX. What's FAMEX? Closest equivalent is the Farnborough Air Show. Looks like a real blast (see brochure), no doubt Neill will get to buttonhole all the best aerospace contacts ;0)

Just watching MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas and one of the commentators said "You'd pay millions of dollars to get 4 or 5 kilos off the weight of a bike"
So add motor bikes to aircraft and cars looking for weight reductions.

Edit:
I suppose that would also be applicable to any type of racing equipment.

Saw this on another bb: sg1 do you know the answer?

Last years final results for period ending 31/3/2016 were published on the 19/7/2016 - not that long to go.

The companies own objectives for the current financial year:

"...Our objectives for the current financial year are:

identify and acquire majority stakes in embryonic advanced materials companies;

identify and acquire licences for thermal management materials;

sign application development agreements with customers;

sign commercial production agreements with customers;

move Thermal Products division to break-even by the end of the financial year;

maintain Hard Wear Products division operating profit return at a minimum of 10% of sales;

and

commence commercial production of graphene in quantity for specific applications...."

Forgive my ignorance of VRS website updates (or if its already been mentioned) - but does anyone know if these aspirations relate for the year end 31/3/2017 or 31/3/2018?

Thanks

VRS are one company that will love it when standards come in.

As shown the NGI and National Physical laboratory have already introduced a website/service with certification which is obviously a work in progress.

The day the standards are set and the NGI and NPL start to list will be good day for the guys with a genuine product.

He is of course arguing with James Dyson, Bill gates, Richard Branson, Apple, DOW, Samsung, Ford, Airbus, Lockheed and countless others who see a big future for it and already know the gains that can be made in existing products by adding a bit of the magic ingredient.

BTW the magic ingredient just because it's of few layers doesn't mean it will work. Lateral size for certain aspects is relevant and one more aspect to add to the list defect ratios. Defect ratios are about the damage or existing faults in the individual platelets. EG holes in a platelet.
