28/4/2017 08:38 | They say it can be used in composites. The data sheet says 5m2/gm. That's hundreds of layers so unlikely to work. | serratia
28/4/2017 07:28 | 'Morsh, the worldwide leading graphene provider' apparently :-) | luckyorange
28/4/2017 07:16 | Haydale " Ray Gibbs, CEO of Haydale, said: "We are delighted that the Subscription Agreement has now completed and we can now commence negotiations on the exclusive binding collaboration agreement with Everpower to manufacture, supply and market existing Haydale products and develop nanomaterials and new graphene products for the Chinese market." Let's hope it works out for them, don't know where their graphene supply comes from, maybe the Chinese have cracked it? | luckyorange
28/4/2017 05:33 | ax I treat the extra as another MM. It's supposed to be a case of at times offering the best price either way. That was the idea behind it. That said on another share same circs the offer was materially lower that the usual MMs but I couldn't see any buys going through near the offer price. As I recall it's free for a while for AIMs to test run it and offers another way to trade your shares should a company leave the AIM. | superg1
27/4/2017 22:31 | ax - there are threads for traders - this is not one of them. A search for 'Level 2' gives this: I'm sure you'll find lots of stuff on there to keep you amused. L2 doesn't mean much though - you'll never keep up with the pros and their automated trading. | supernumerary
27/4/2017 21:13 | Has anyone the patience to explain AIM and NEX to me? Until this morning, I'd never heard of NEX. Non-activity by VRS on AIM directed by Astralvision (thanks) to NEX. 1) Looking at Level 2 and 3, out of 14 trades on Versarien today, 6 were on LSE and 8 on NEX. Bid/Sell slightly different during the day and at closing. 2) I'd assumed we were always talking about VRS and not VRS.GB, and information on the header of this B/board was AIM. It probably is, but Level 2 and 3 are both shown by ADVFN. 3) How does one best judge activity? Follow both? 4) And when we discuss activity do we refer to AIM or NEX? Or both? 5) Do Market Makers on AIM and NEX cooperate? 6) And since I'm trialling Level 2 and 3, on two different outfits, is a view of NEX considered essential? Thanks... | axotyl
27/4/2017 18:03 | sg - you are very naughty boy ;0) | spike_1
27/4/2017 17:35 | BTW I asked 2 well known suppliers some simple graphene questions on their product. Both want to chat rather than put it in print about undeclared claims. Well knock me down with a feather. That's 2 more scrubbed off the list for me. | superg1
27/4/2017 17:29 | On my soap box I pinged the AIM re various trash news in the market. Got a generic reply about we will investigate allegations, so I made some detailed ones and we'll see how they get on. :-) | superg1
27/4/2017 14:38 | I suspect that someone is looking for stock at 21p. | phoenixs
27/4/2017 12:15 | spot on Vasilis | phoenixs
27/4/2017 11:53 | Regarding Idtechex - a major event in Berlin next month - from what I can see Neill is giving two talks - 1 Real world applications - 2 High Speed printable electronics - I sincerely hope that Neill's presentations - especially in respect of inks - are geared towards actual specific commercial benefits and potential savings for customers as there is nothing like showing people how to improve their businesses and at the same time save money to make them sit up and really listen. Let others do the generic and 'glossy advertising' presentations. I do like this on Idtechex's banner headline - 'Speakers from the world's largest organisations will share their needs and experiences with many world first announcements.' I look forward to hearing some of these announcements. | vasilis
27/4/2017 10:51 | axotyl it is a bit confusing, in that the trades on the 2nd one were done on Nex, not AIM, but if you put up L2 on advfn AIM on the trades bit to the side of L2 info it gives trades on both Nex and AIM Bottom line is you need to monitor both VRS and VRS.GB They are not 'synchronised' as such. Nex is Winterfloods and KBC MM's, Winterfloods also MM on AIM VRS | astralvision
27/4/2017 10:50 | Red My thoughts too. Singer (new mm) picked some up on the bid yesterday then flipped to the offer which is standard MM buy sell etc. I see the CEO is talking about high speed printing with graphene ink at the Idtechex event in early May. It does seem the ink has a fair chance of making some sales progress near term. | superg1
27/4/2017 10:35 | The 2nd one is VRS via ADVFN, and that's definitely AIM. 1st one, talking to supplier, is AIM, but feed seems knackered. I've never realised that VRS was on NEX as well....I'm confused - are they synchronised? | axotyl
27/4/2017 10:03 | that one is the Nex exchange symbol for versarien is VRS.GB ie, VRS is traded on AIM and Nex, put both VRS and VRS.GB in your monitor | astralvision
27/4/2017 09:48 | This is another source; I guess they can vary... | axotyl
27/4/2017 09:44 | 39,431 traded on VRS.GB so far today. | astralvision
27/4/2017 09:29 | superg - could you explain this, please? That's VRS 0925 this morning, all quiet, nothing happening, system jammed or spread too wide? Punters taking an early long weekend? | axotyl
27/4/2017 09:17 | Probably someone testing the water. That's only £10k | redchef
27/4/2017 09:15 | A do wonder why randon auctions appear from time to time with no action. 50k shares came on the bid in auction at 21p. | superg1
27/4/2017 07:57 | Great posts Lucky. I find it rather wonderful that we numpties can piggyback on the great brains of those in Melbourne, Cambridge and Manchester and potentially make lots of money in the process. As Napoleon Hill (I think it was) once said "Think and Grow Rich" :0) | shavian
27/4/2017 07:12 | The negative news was the chair going, although most seemed to see that as a positive! Swing traders will look at it as a double bottom on strong support, it needed testing! | luckyorange
26/4/2017 22:47 | I sense/hope that 20-21p will prove to be the 'bottom', barring negative news of course.NAI GLA | cyberbub
26/4/2017 21:10 | ARM We’re willing to bet ARM technology is in your mobile phone right now – the company has made a huge contribution to the mobile world. It’s the UK supergiant you never knew existed. One of the world’s most prolific providers of microprocessor IP, ARM technology is shaping the connected world as we know it – over 86 billion ARM-based chips have been shipped to the world to date. The tech behind chips at the heart of almost every device you interact with every day takes root in this Cambridge-based company – one that began with just a dozen engineers working out of a barn in 1990. Just saying :-) | luckyorange |
