Guys the name Smooth gorilla derives from a business a director had hence it can only be someone with such knowledge. The sour grapes started post Neill leaving Elektron.

Daley the CEO has destroyed Elektron and pays himself vast sums including bonuses.

I thought £120k wasn't bad tbh Barder pays himself £250k each year and delivers nothing. 100's of examples available on the AIM.

Smooth

You are an Elektron sour grape fella and as usual are posting details which are untrue.
Typical Elektron behaviour hence the court case against the CEO etc.

They pay themselves £120k each to run a £6m business. Nice work if you can get it.

I was not aware that gorillas had hats to eat. I was thinking more along the lines of gorillas in the mist as far as your reasoning goes. The company have already said that they would not meet targets sometime in January which you should be aware of if you read the rns statements. As you say we shall see but at least VRS do not have very highly paid directors stealing shareholder funds for their own ends or grabbing options for noext to no cost.
Watch this space and we will see what happens in the coming weeks and monyhs

Quite right. £30k is probably materiality for this bunch and the difference between the going concern being signed off by the auditors or not.

Don't forget the savings, there's the chairmans salary to start with and then other Directors no longer employed lol

Growing in people, costs and hence losses. I agree. A shame the management attempt to hide this from shareholders.

You are impatient, the ink and Nanene as well as AAC are part of the growing company that VRS has become. I will let you off with a pork pie hat should you be wrong ;-) (unless of course that is against your religion then it will need a re-think)

Yes don't get me started on the ink. When is the air bottling factory going to be commissioned to great fanfare to mask horrific losses?

DYOR but when there's no discussion of revenues it is to hide losses and cash burn. Time will tell when the results or a trading statement are announced. Happy to eat my hat should I be wrong but you can't say I haven't given you fair warning.

If you are going to ramp it SmoothGorilla don't forget the ink :-)

I can't help feeling that you have a beef with Neill Ricketts?

I would have thought it was obvious to all why there has been no trading update.

Rockets only likes to issue good news. I expect carbide revenues to be under £3m for the full year and an horrific loss which required the placings. He is selling air.

I expect the Chairman resigned because he was tired of it. 4 directors left in 4 years including a founder, 2 chairman not to mention a stream of senior management.

I also expect a trading update alongside a meaningless investor event or pitiful order for heat sinks or graphene. You'll see that any hint of bad news is dealt with in the same way.

If a cottage industry started up with graphene enhanced products what would sell well?

I hadn't thought about a trading update john henry,it is a fair point as shareholders should be kept informed how their company is progressing i.e. are TC and AAC performing above/below/on expectations. Personally I am happy to wait until EOY report and accounts with forward looking statements.

neill ricketts twitter.

wonder whether the sky report on British engineering doing well on the back of a weaker £ is also helping VRS's carbide business. If so, we could be in for some good news.

I just read the directa results and wonder how on earth they managed to lose so much cash. Then some weird comments on tyre sales and a write down in excess of the revenue of an apparent returned order.

I'm not going to bother trying to digest and understand it.

I switched off from Directa as everything they seemed to achieve was in Italy. On the bike tyres I know a load of cycling nuts. If something is out there to go faster they get it. None buy the Vittoria tyres, as they had never heard of them so clearly a marketing issue there.

Not picking on HayD and not looked it up, whoch way is that exclusivity as Everpower have their own graphene opions and more than one, just asking.

I would think we should start seeing news of supply contracts in the next couple of months? At least early heads of terms agreements or 'sample' sales.
