Q. I sold some of my Jarvis to buy more of these thinking these will do better in short term and especially after reading comments in newpapers of how under valued. Just do not see where the sells are coming from as there are not many investors involved with this?

Bountyhunter,

You can also take out the UKbiotechs link as I have closed that site now.

50p would be fantastic, but I am looking for 25-30p on this one and within the next 6 months (if it is still VER then).

fhmktg...I agree....traders are already out....ok my purchase today was just under 13p........but what is a pence when u are going to treble within 6 months....I am happy with my exposure....

Guess thats the right strategy, q.
Traders will be locking in their doubling of share price profits over the next couple of days..then we need the Apokyn sale or other news for the next leg up.

50p in six months will go some way to assuaging my significant losses!

The potential for Frova interests me over the coming year - the power of viral marketing by ladies sharing their experience of Frova for pmm, notwithstanding the FDA position, could boost the sales level to the point where fees become payable again, sooner than expected.

little or no risk from here in IMHO.

topped up with 50k, showing in plus system. Noticed big buys during yesterdays closing..
Sam's overview is to the point:
Sam Fazeli, senior research analyst at Piper Jaffray, said: "Looking at Vernalis, you now see a company where the CEO has left and where they've got rid of the Sword of Damocles hanging over their head by restructuring and giving themselves a long cash life. The company is very cheap and people aren't blind to that.

quraishim

did just that this afternoon
...annoyingly I could have done better on Friday but I think that the prospects of a predator taking out VER on the cheap are very real (imho) although maybe a potential predator would wait until a deal is agreed for the divestment of Apokyn?

boomboon, I agree with u as over the weekend in my previous post I had put the value of Apokyn as £20 million....so with £40 million VER will be in strong position....but what worries me a predator going for VER on the cheap.....could be right time to top up on weakness.

Thanks Quraishi...would appreciate your insight on this.

The company has a cash balance of £20m plus est. £20m proceeds from the sale
of Apokyn would imply that the shares do not ascribe any value to the
pipeline. That alone must surely be worth a multiple of the current market
cap?

With the uncertainty of the Endo loan repayment removed, I see plenty of
reasons for the share price to move back to its September levels circa. 50p
Would you agree? Any reasons why it should not?

boomboom.....like to put a figure but need to do some research.....but definately their are interested parties for Apokyn but my opinion is Fellner is not going to sell it cheap...we have cash for another two years which will give couple of products ready for FDA approval...

modified header chart to 3-day which is more up to date than the 5-day and also included intraday chart which is more up to date still
...it will be interesting to see if the US open at 14:30 has any effect on the price

Quraishi, thanks for your updates and I think you're right, there is a
strong case for corporate activity. The first step was settle the Endo loan
and the sale of Apokyn should secure the company's future it seems well into
2009/10. When do you think Apokyn be sold?
