Well you just saved 10% on this one by waiting!

See AZM as a short term punt, PTI for a medium term punt and this one for a LONG term back of the drawer investment.

we should see a nice recovery this week...

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Specialty drug company Vernalis PLC (LSE: VER.L - news) said executive chairman Peter Fellner on Friday bought 110,000 shares at 13.25 pence each, lifting his beneficial holding in the company to 525,888 shares, or 0.168 pct.

aren't all stocks a gamble, its the risks that change. As the possibility for upside is far bigger than down movements I would say the risks are good

QAZWSX123/jarbie please note that there is nothing in the fundamentals or in forecasts to reduce this share price at these levels, I would suggest a bounce is long over due.

we are all here for the gamble, just wish I had the balls/money to top up yesterday.

good luck all

there is nothing in the fundamentals or in forecasts to support this share price even at these levels - we live and hope but unless VER come up with a product of substance we just continue to support their lifestyle - I wish I could be more optimistic - jarbie

Vernalis has a very healthy cash flow, the last finanicals stated that cash resources at the end of June 2006 totalled £50.9 million. Also Endo are a close business partner and will be taking FROVA® to the US market once FDA has given approval.

On another issue, could Endo Pharmaceuticals make a bid for Vernalis?

how come the share price is trading at such large discount to the Net Assets per share ? (26.19) I guess a 3rd party will probably make a bid as VER is a big takeover target at this level.

makes interesting reading, VER appears 20% over sold since the annoucement.
