23/2/2008 10:41 | Thanks bounty. very qick response, but what about the buying that is going on that does not show on advfn, it could give a misleading view of this share, either buys or sells.....averaged down from £1.20 to 16p recently and have not seen one buy shown on the advfn section? | ![]() 4screws
23/2/2008 10:37 | you are welcome! an update to the header was way overdue good luck all | ![]() bountyhunter
23/2/2008 10:37 | why is the chart above, not showing what happened on friday, and can someone explain the whereabout s of the info they stated saying a million @ 8p. I have noticed over the last 10 days of drip buying that not one of my buys through hbos has shown up on advfn, could it be the case that institutional buying has not shown up either....a question for you experts out there. | ![]() 4screws
23/2/2008 10:34 | Bounty thanks for your input on this thread.....very much appreciated by me and probably all VER shareholders who use ADVFN. | quraishim

23/2/2008 10:15 | good luck - I have been tempted to buy into OXB in the past but stayed out in the end - the sector where I remain overweight is the oil & gas sector where I have been doing well except for BP. (an underperformer with $100 oil!!) | ![]() bountyhunter

23/2/2008 10:08 | bounty...thanks, fan of british biotech(VER)...which is complimenting years of R&D...which makes it even more attractive for Big pharma......I consider OXB and VER, ASM as a jewel of UK's biotech industry....... | quraishim
23/2/2008 10:01 | maybe not as the handle looks a bit dodgy ;) ...this seems to be what a cup-and-handle should look like: ...the story is more important however and that does not affect my bullish view! [ Nevertheless on the chart there is no resistance on the way back up between 22p and 40p - assuming we do head back up there before any possible takeout. ] (imho fwiw dyor...) | ![]() bountyhunter
23/2/2008 09:55 | Hi quraishim, I'm a bit behind on VER as I sold out ages ago (@69p) and only just bought back in yesterday (didn't get as many as you) having read news and posts here recently. (Hence the flourish of news related posts yesterday!) For what it's worth my take on this is that one of the larger pharma's may be very interested in picking this up at the current valuation given the research facilities in Cambridge and prospects there, recent staff cuts, financial restructuring, as well as the existing drugs. Also the chart looks bullish to me - I'm no expert chartist but is that not a cup-and-handle formation forming? | ![]() bountyhunter
23/2/2008 09:52 | bounty i have managed to get but I had my order split in three and could get only 135k....hopefully i will add another 65k on monday.......lets see but definately I think a predator is circling.... | quraishim
23/2/2008 09:48 | bounty...what do u make of ver at the moment.....the graph(long term charts) looks very tasty for a long sustained rise... without a bid, but I have been monitoring the share price ..someone is buying regularly big chunks....no RNS of the holding as yet.....anyone who could highlight me of instituitional holding in VER will be appreciated....thank | quraishim
23/2/2008 09:33 | I think something is definately going on - I couldn't get all the shares I wanted yesterday and online limits were ridiculously low. | ![]() bountyhunter
22/2/2008 23:27 | Endo might approach Ver for a takeover........a very likely scenario | quraishim
22/2/2008 23:09 | top three risers on advfn.....must be a process of rerating going on or a corporate activity going on behind closed door. | quraishim
22/2/2008 19:41 | [ I think the first article may have been posted earlier but here's the link again in case anyone missed it ] Vernalis shake-up leaves it vulnerable to bid Vernalis consolidates in Cambridge following major restructuring | ![]() bountyhunter
22/2/2008 19:30 | last trade 3 million? of the 140 trades reported today (advfn data) total volume was only around 2 million: | ![]() bountyhunter
22/2/2008 19:24 | had some trouble buying in today; online limits in particular were way too low ...takeover prospects seem very credible to me (imho fwiw!) | ![]() bountyhunter
