Friend's daughter says:

"I don’t think there’s much difference. Boohoo has a generally slightly lower price range with more basic stuff.

Tends to prefer BooHoo because they have more offers. She’s going to ask her friends as well."

Mmmm. So maybe they are at 12%ish because they have cut down on the offers. Caveat 6week comparison.

BOO shorts

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board 0.95% -0.06% 12 Jun 2018
Marshall Wace LLP 0.66% 0.14% 12 Jun 2018

So, the canadians have sold a few and a 30billion hedge fund have made a big bet on the same day.

""Purplebricks" the hybrid estate agency, is pleased to announce that, following its successful launches in California and the New York Designated Market Area ("NY DMA"), it is expanding its offering to Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona."

Talking of the difficulty of invading yoodleland! I think I'll keep my money on FEVR.

I like bamboo's posts, j, but not enough to go onto manically popular single company threads. Thoughtful ones like ZOO and PTSG are so rare.

Bought some more ZOO in daughter's ISA. She's more patient than wot I am.

It's almost as if the Market is anticipating the US, janeann.

But the US office opens this month, so no news 'till Xmas I reckon.

acso - just under 15% apad - was a little higher till I mistakenly top sliced a few and have failed to get them back! Mind fevr has pretty much outperformed acso - amazed still at the rise - and I do wonder if it can crack the USmarket. will be interesting to see.

No APAD, I have a small hdg in PRIM which has a less than 10% hdg in Ukog so I have a tiny vested interest in Horse Hill
Just a punt but sometimes these exploration cos give some excitement and I have made money in the past in likes of DES, EOG, ENQ and others
These days they are way out of favour and very difficult to make money on so I stick to existing producers RDS,BP.AMER
The day will come when the Exp cos come back into favour but that will prob take 100$ poo
That's not to say they will not provide v good trading opps for the brave or mad

I don't think you own UKOG, Big7?
Fascination with a crazy story, perhaps.
I see SOU is going to start drilling. I have a few leftover that I will keep out of interest in the process.

FEVR is now over 30% of Stairway, janeann! Is ACSO a more sensible proportion of your portfolio?

BOO founder has gifted loads of BOO shares in trust for his family. I would guess that a conventional trust would sell shares over a period to create a more balanced portfolio.

I do not have the experience to differentiate between PLT and BOO from their websites.

DOTD is 20%+ down in a month, post GDPR and some director sales.

The GDPR argument is a short term balance between lengthening sales cycles and subsequent improvements in the quality of mailing lists.

DOTD usually has a trading update mid-July.

I'm wondering whether to increase ahead of the news or wait until the rns. Can't help feeling that the fall is overdone.

Any views?

Indeed it coined the term and has a very impressive list of customers.
So, first mover advantage.

"The Board's compiled current consensus expectations are £47.5m recognised revenue and £18.9m adjusted EBITDA loss."

Given the nature of software busnesses that loss better be turned into a profit before long.

prsm - its a right place right time leader in its field issue; I see it ahead of the competition and leading the way. News out yesterday added to that view. Labour seems to be getting in short supply and if a firm wants to consider automation then one would go to the best. at least that's how I see it.
That said, my holding is small relative to acso and my other entries - acso by far my largest.
