14/6/2018 11:53 | prsm - its a right place right time leader in its field issue; I see it ahead of the competition and leading the way. News out yesterday added to that view. Labour seems to be getting in short supply and if a firm wants to consider automation then one would go to the best. at least that's how I see it. That said, my holding is small relative to acso and my other entries - acso by far my largest. hxxps://www.prnewswi | janeann
14/6/2018 10:49 | 😊 Topped up her BVXP holding, now angsting about what else to buy. Maybe a couple of little puppies. | apad
14/6/2018 10:45 | Stop it, I want them at 380p ;-) | al101uk
14/6/2018 10:12 | bought some Chesnara in daughter's ISA | apad
14/6/2018 09:10 | star trek has been doing that for decades! fevr - simply cant believe the strength - sold the last of my small holding yesterday - and its on up again today. ps put the proceeds into prsm on the dip this am! | janeann
14/6/2018 09:08 | Decided to keep NTQ. Interims are mid Nov and I will be looking for revenue growth. PIs are selling out this morning. It'll go into hibernation I guess. Don't understand what's lit the afterburners on FEVR. Whilst I expected it to come back, I didn't expect over 32 quid in short order. apad | apad
14/6/2018 08:44 | These days you can - I split infinitives too. Latin is just too limiting. apad | apad
14/6/2018 08:23 | ahh but you can have 1 sheep - you cant have one data! | janeann
14/6/2018 07:56 | RP19 i had the same thought about NTQ, but I have no basis to make a judgement. The management are 'insiders' so would be good at selling the company if they wanted to. I'm afraid that in the modern world 'data' has become like 'sheep', both singular and plural, janeann. apad😊 | apad
14/6/2018 07:23 | Faron update on interest trial; seems there is another layer of complexity in determining who will benefit from treatment; but their target treatment group may be getting smaller. Always worries me when scientists don't realise the word 'data' is plural; ...... this data suggests .... perhaps in this case its a language issue? | janeann
14/6/2018 01:38 | Agree Hydrus. ZOO seems to have a bright future and when I say "stalled" I mean "for the time being". I am sure it will continue when the time is right. Also a fan of BVXP as I think you are aware but don't hold BUR. If there is ever a major market sell-off then one to think about getting a starter position on at that time IMO. | lauders
13/6/2018 22:26 | Apad - NTQ supplies its equipment to the independent production companies as the majors do it in house (unsure how efficient this is). Given the relatively low market cap of NTQ, do you think there is any possibility of one of the majors simply buying out NTQ? | rp19
13/6/2018 21:58 | Lauders re ZOO it's up nearly 70% YTD. Just pausing for a breather. I'm still very confident that over the next couple years it will do very well. It's a large part of my portfolio. BVXP and BUR the other big hitters for me albeit some way behind ZOO. | hydrus
13/6/2018 14:48 | "Haydale Graphene expects recovery after tougher than expected 2017" Never but anything with nano or graphene in the title. apad | apad
13/6/2018 14:25 | Topped up daughter's BOO ISA holding at 204p. apad | apad
13/6/2018 13:42 | BOO "Neil Catto has exercised an option over 1,553,398 Ordinary Shares at an exercise price of 25.75 pence per Ordinary Share, and has sold these shares at a price of 215.093p per Ordinary Share" Time for a rant, red😊 apad | apad
13/6/2018 13:36 | Lauders, I do think the Barclays comment on BOO is simplistic - there are other more subtle tintin comments, but the conference call is the richest source of information. The tintins only seem able to ask about margins! Worth remembering that it was 140p in April. Anyroadup, lots of food for thought. apad | apad
13/6/2018 13:28 | MALCY on NTQ: "....although the US is growing other markets are still only ‘promisingR For the record, they are 0.6% of Stairway and showing a 23% gain. apad😎 | apad
13/6/2018 12:15 | Soundbuy posted this link on the ITV thread, but there are some comments on BOO too for those interested: Hoping ITV will do well for the reasons stated. | lauders
13/6/2018 12:06 | Mental patient | toptrump1
13/6/2018 09:46 | dacian, NTQ at 33p could be a decent buy for the patient, perhaps? My recent two top-ups were not well timed. As usual changes take longer than expected. Stairway is at an all-time high, with the top five shares accounting for 70% of the value. I sometimes wonder why I own any other shares. apad🤔 | apad
13/6/2018 09:34 | Hydrus There was your post a few yrs ago re TERN: Hydrus - 24 Dec 2014 - 17:48:36 - 1629 of 19872 TERN, Encrypting the Cloud and Internet of Things (IoT) - TERN Ok Tracy good luck. BTW I have no issue with the company, they are taking a small punt for £300k. Currently it's not worth any more than that though. So market cap should be under £1m. Like I said I bet they couldn't believe the sudden rise hence the quick fund raising. Let's see how it pans out. Whoops! | toptrump1 |
