Kononov may be getting offers for Urals via the fax machine in his detention cell.
Someone will be interested in buying this and Kononov is not exactly at his best.
Weren't the Chinese looking at this once for $130m; and since then there have been some additions to the portfolio. And the CCP does like a good port.

A tanker and tug offshore at Art currently, looks like a second shipment of the year there.

2020 accounts still not submitted though and still zero communication from the board.

Terrible investor relations and I fear they’ll never get better.

Chav, regardless whether other shareholders voted in favour of him or not, he’s and his cronies shares/voting rights alone, would have given him the majority. Also, if non compliance/fraud is proven then whether the holdings are in his name or his daughters, makes no difference, he will still be made accountable. Lets hope there is some shareholder value at the end of all this. Fingers crossed and GLA.

We live in hope - I still have the currently worthless paper certificate. I am in Australia now and Steer well clear of further dealings in the UK stock market after also being burned big time with RKH, i-Gas and XTR. The AIM market is full of companies run by crooks and they aren't all Russian!

It is possible they may have to relist but no nomad would touch them hence our current predicament. These crooks are a law unto themselves in a place that's the same. They will imo just carry on pocketing all the proceeds until they want to flog off the lot then do something bent as I have suggested to keep most of the proceeds.
I have done what I think is the healthy thing and wrote it off and put it out of mind.

Chav, that could be a possibility agreed but anything that orchestrated you would hope the regulators such as fca would investigate, but having said that only in a perfect world and the fca appear to be toothless tiger when these situations arise or just turn a blind eye!!!
I presume the company would have to re-list to carry out any proposed actions?

Martyn, agreed. BUT, they could do a placing and buy up that placing themselves between them giving them a 51% holding between them! What then? If I recall right they are not far off a majority holding between them.
That in its self would dilute and they could offer and accept a bag of peanuts to the rest of us, if you see where I'm coming from. I would put nothing past these crooks.

As someone else on here stated, at some point in time the bod however corrupt will need the vote from the majority shareholders for whatever reason at that time.
