Takeachance, might be a good idea. I will find their head office and contact them for advice based on what we know.

Was just thinking the same. In all honesty I imagine they've just written it off but it couldn't hurt trying.

Thanks. That's the email I have been sending to and same as you I haven't received a reply. I'm waiting for word back about the results being submitted but it's going to take a bit longer due to CV. I'll post as soon as I hear.

I doubt the likes of j.p. morgan who are a large shareholder will just take it on the chin, with their firepower imo will want some answers as they have the company reputation to guard.

If they get a warning and removed from company listing they probably think so what.
Like I have said a few times they regard the company has theirs and we dont exist.
They probably think nobody can do anything about it and just keep taking the proceeds between them.

@gaffer73, I have sent a number of emails to info@uralsenergy.ru, copying in shareholders@uralsenergy.ru. Although i have not received any replies, the receptionist at the moscow office who i have spoken to (+7 495 795 0300) a number of times, has confirmed my emails have been received and have forwarded to the person dealing with the requests. I have left messages with the receptionist a number of times but not had any calls/emails from the company.

In the UK though if a company is wound up the assets become property of the crown.

What is the position in Cyprus?

Apparently they get a warning and then are removed from the company listing. Not sure who enforces it and to what level though. Think I'll speak to my contact again.

They are in default, I have checked and they haven't submitted their results.

As I have said on here before, your first action should be to get a lawyer in Cyprus to advise you on whether the company is in default in any way as regards their (non) actions and filings as a Cyprus registered company. If 20 of you put in £100 each that should be no problem.

You own shares in a delisted company - it is not unusual. As to whether there has been any 'crookery' - if there is any evidence of such then the shareholders will act.
