What a pathetic "advice " Topicel: You either have or don't have UEN share since the company doesn't trading is a fact that any idiot would know !

What happens to others who have been whining about their "loss" all year long, the like of "Darren" , couldn't even put their act together to fight for their rights!

FYI, the web site is back and was a rough job of "updating" but at least UEN has not just disappeared without a trace!!

That didn't last long. As far as I know I no longer have any shares as the company doesn't trade any more?

What we are left with is the usual trail of cover-up and misrepresentation by anonymous avatars.

Stick to the outfits you are invested in that are still trading and consider this experience and how suitable AIM is for you. Sell up everywhere is my advice and take a life lesson.

Good health for 2020 is paramount for me.

How about forming a group first so total numbers of share power is gathered. then formally write to UEN to deliver a demand "officially " to force out an response ??/

I believe Cyprus law is as follows:'All companies carrying commercial activities in Cyprus are required to submit their financial statements and tax returns no later than 31st December. However, if the management of the company decides to submit the financial documents on an electronically basis, the provisions of the Cyprus Company Law specify an extended period of 3 months from the above-mentioned date. As such, the financial statements can be submitted by 31st of March'

You need a lawyer in Cyprus as you need to find out if the company is in legal default or not. If they are then you need to know what you can do about it and what the costs will be.

I'm in because I think an action group can have it's advantages in pooling resources and possibly getting noticed. However I'm not entirely convinced about having a lawyer represent us when there is no legal issue to be acted upon. A lawyer will only act upon instruction and will charge for every breath he draws. So don't expect too much. I posted earlier about what lawyers represent uen in Cyprus so maybe lawyer to lawyer we might get more info.

Maybe the first thing we can do is to establish a "Action Group Participate list" HERE , some kind of "Open Register Form" so we can quickly determine the Interested "UENers+shares" . Once we have that and legal fee quotation, every one can see how much money they need to contribute to kick off when appropriate. PS: Gaffer, I don't think June 2020 is right deadline for report as they did not report June 2019, so must be some sooner IMO. Any comments are welcome for those did invested there !! I have happy and willing to go with what ever everyone else decide to do. If it means digging deep to to coff up for the lawyers fee then so be it.

I would hang fire for a bit as we don't know if they have broken any rules yet. As far as I'm aware not updating shareholders on the day to day running of the company is against Cyprus law. I also believe they have until the end of the year to submit a paper copy and until June to submit a online copy of the results.(seems a ridiculous amount of time to me). I have a contact in Cyprus who is looking into the results and I will update everyone when I hear back.

What I proposed is indeed to achieve "put the money where your mouth is" because once we have decent amount of shareholders willing to act, the lawyer's fee can be funded proportional to its shares, fair and simple ! Anyone ?

whu, I have said it many times on here, if people are serious about getting something from UEN, they need to put money together and appoint a lawyer in Cyprus to represent them. Bellyaching on this thread and sending pathetic emails to the company will achieve nothing.

Guys, I am pretty sure the BOD will not take demanding emails from individual UK PI seriously as we never had any response from the BOD ever since UEN was delisted ! I am still of the opinion that only when most of, if not all, our UK PI's grouped together (action group or similar ) with sizable % of total share declared to them may produce some notice as the Group can threaten the BOD with certain meaningful action as consequence, i.e. legal challenge or exposure in UK based media! I am pretty sure UEN should have annual report issued out in July or July, but one may check with Cyprus law where the date for Annual Report should be clearly defined !!! It is enough waiting and IS the time for action ! We have NOTHING more to loose by now! Any Comments are welcome !. Merry Christmas to you all. WH

@takeachance - I sincerely doubt threatening to raise with the media is going to have any impact aside from antagonising the board (I fully appreciate your frustration given the unkept promises on shareholder updates) - there is zero upside to this given the Russian media could care not one jot about our predicament.

Holding them to their legal obligations re accounts/AGM will be much more beneficial.

I too have sent many emails to the company as well as calling them. I did receive a response saying they’d been forwarded onto the relevant people - nothing further though.
