01/2/2021 10:24 | As I said a long time ago now, to him and his crooks WE dont exist. The plan was for all income from the company to be his. | chavitravi2
30/1/2021 18:08 | Interestingly the Petrosakh website has now disappeared. | gaffer73
30/1/2021 14:08 | As far as we know, the Company is still trading. The Cyprus office has been closed and a streamlined administrative function put in place. Kononov last we heard was the President of the Russian subsiduary company, but his control of this entity is surely via his 44.5% interest in the Cyprus-based parent company Urals Energy, for which he paid a great deal ($18m iirc). If he is ever to get his money back, surely it would have to be via this company, which he only partially owns? If Urals Energy were to be wound up somehow, what legal title would he have to own the Russian subsiduary companies? If he did try to take possession of these, that is something that could be challenged, even in Russia. This pandemic will be used by a lot of companies to sidestep their obligations to shareholders. I suggest the 55.5% shareholders of Urals Energy don't just give up - that's exactly what a potentially unscrupulous management in Russia would prefer. Kononov should know that if he seeks to take the lot, the other shareholders will not let that happen without a fight. If necessary, at the very least we should move to 'cancel' his $18m in Cyprus and then thwart any efforts he might make to take ownership of the assets in Russia. | amargosa
29/1/2021 15:19 | It’s strange that he told you the company was now called Petrosakh but he then directed you to an email address for uralsenergy for queries Who knows what to believe with this lot though!! It’s a pretty big decision to have divested one of the two subsidiaries we had, you would’ve thought that would warrant a mention to shareholders. | darren81
29/1/2021 14:16 | I rang +7 4957950300, a woman answered, who then put me through to a guy. Although he spoke very little English, he did manage to spell out Petrosakh to me. He said if I wanted more information, gave me the email address which I already had. | takeachance1
29/1/2021 13:39 | Who did you speak to in Russia that said the company was now Petrosakh? What has happened to Arktikneft? Looking at marine traffic today it seems like there is a tanker and two tugs off the coast of the island suggesting a shipment will be made there imminently...given they haven’t updated on the 4 shipments made since delisting I don’t expect them to notify on this either. | darren81
29/1/2021 11:27 | I have also sent numerous emails to both addresses with no response. To be honest I didn't expect any response following the delisting, no matter what we were promised. They have stolen our money and being in Russia I suspect there is nothing we can do about it. | gaffer73
29/1/2021 11:10 | Not holding my breath for a response, but hey, only takes few minutes to write up an email to convince myself that im trying to get whatever i can of the 10’s of thousands iv invested. As always, will try to keep you updated. | takeachance1
29/1/2021 11:05 | I have just rang the company in Russia. A man answered and said the company is now called Petrosakh. He said you need to email info@uralsenergy.ru or shareholders@uralsen Morning, I have been trying to communicate with you for the past 18 months via email and telephone (+7 495 795 0300). To date I have not received a reply to my emails or phone calls. Can you please provide an urgent update with regards to the current situation of the company (Urals Energy) and my shareholding. | takeachance1
29/1/2021 08:49 | Takeachance,I hope your well, I would still want to see the accounts to establish what the company was worth, to reflect any potential offer that might be offered. I'm still confounded as to how these crooks are still trading. | martyn9
28/1/2021 17:50 | Nothing to laugh about at all, its a valid and genuine question mate. You can’t sell at the moment. Im keeping hold of mine. May sound optimistic, but i’m hoping that maybe someday i’ll receive an email/post offering me a value for them. I’m not a novice neither its wishful thinking, like i said, just being optimistic. | takeachance1
28/1/2021 17:22 | Sorry, but can someone help. Unfortunately I am a long term holder and to be honest I haven't looked at this thread for quite a long time. Is it possible to sell these anywhere, just want to tidy things up. Or does anyone think they're worth holding onto a bit longer. Please don't laugh! Best wishes to all. | tissueboy2
25/1/2021 11:54 | It would appear this lot are a law to themselves,it makes a farce of the rules and shows the system flaws. | martyn9
25/1/2021 11:24 | I don't think that listing is active chav | gaffer73
25/1/2021 10:31 | Perhaps because they are trading under their new listing they dont have to submit accounts until after a year in that new listing. Just guessing. | chavitravi2
22/1/2021 16:43 | Hi Martyn, beats me! I've asked the company that very question but like everyone else I didn't get a response. | gaffer73
22/1/2021 15:08 | Hi gaffer, interesting info and cyprus under EU law and regulations and as we are both saying, how are they trading!!! | martyn9
22/1/2021 14:51 | No they haven't, I have spoken to someone who works for the Cypriot companies house. I don't know how they can still trade under that listing. | gaffer73
22/1/2021 14:27 | I wonder if any accounts have actually been submitted. If not how the hell are they allowed to continue trading?? Answers on a postcard please. | martyn9
15/1/2021 10:48 | Woodcroft, see 73164 | chavitravi2
14/1/2021 14:21 | Unfortunately the answer is no and no. | gaffer73
14/1/2021 13:58 | With the recent resurgence in POO does anyone think that there is a chance of UEN re-listing any time soon? - did anyone manage to sell there shares by some alternative means? | 53woodcroft
16/12/2020 16:30 | Thanks Martyn, u too pal and everyone else too. | takeachance1 |
