Ariane, disagree not today, after all today is a big turning point is it not?
Everyone waiting for a positive statement for weeks and nothing now due for a length of time.
Why would you change your Financial Year End?

Wodahsnoom, can we trust the numbers? Is there any spin? Can findings be wrong?
Just get the feel, as stumpy is now thinking, big game on?

The numbers broadly didn't change from 9th December.

As they said on 9th December they are re-prioritising the capex spend and will look to fix operational issues in Ghana and restore production which in turn will increase cashflow which in turn allows them to pay down debt and allocate more to exploration.

There, - I'm done.

wodahsnoon, that's starting to drop beyond a little wobble. I really think 41 p is possible, even likely (I'm not calling it as a bottom). I'd take care personally. I see value here eventually, but timing a long entry right is really important 57 to 41 is almost a 30% drop. Might not happen, but from the way it's been trading, assuming it continues to trade in a similar way, 41 is starting to look likely rather than possible. No-one can see into the future though and anything could happen. But that's exactly why it's wise to watch a stable of stocks/indices/commodities etc so you can leave the ones with excess risk to work that risk out a little and run with something that is not 'reeking of risk' if you like. Impossible find something without risk, and no matter how good you are at fundamentals, it's impossible to avoid losses, but some are more obvious than others. These should be avoided (or shorted if you're really confident).

Based on the firmed up numbers from today. I don't see how they do Anything other than keep paying the interest on the debt in years to come. I don't see how they reduce it without selling Assets or raising equity. That now appears clear.

Not enough money for what?? Nothing has changed since 9th December - shouldn't take that long for reality to sink in. What do you think.....??

Obviously I can't see that post/response Smartie, but I'm working on the principle that if it walks like a rat, smells like a rat and looks like a rat, it's probably a rat.

Stumpy, well you haven’t been too clever there. Halfords statement tomorrow. Let’s see where we are then. I said on Friday the movement stinks and if there is a dividend cut or no dividend at all you will be looking at 70p imho. So I’m not yet wrong. And I’ll only be proved correct if there is no div.

You need to concentrate. Maybe feeling like you’ve been played is playing on your sanity?

I tell you what smartie, that's enough for me. I'm filtering you along with the numerous other timewasters I come across. There is something very 'zealous' about you suddenly turning up here and posting like a dancing dervish on acid. Very, very odd.
