Doesn't $150 million profit put the mcap around £110 @pe x 10 so a 30% uplift? This will become a traders share

What I do get from the rns is a sense of urgency and that DT is on a mission - I hope so. On Guyana, on the face of it no drilling indicated for 2020.

1. Partners have not completed evaluation of drilling results to date and therefore no decisions on 2020 programme.
2, Exploration spend of 75ml is only initial budget and could increase if cashflow increases.
3. I would bet that TLW will farm down half it's stake in Orinduik (probably to Total) and relinquish operatorship - that would make sense to me. This would reduce the costs of drilling to TLW

Anyway, could have been a lot worse and shows continuity from december rns

Jethro and Joe are, for all intents and purpose, written off. 5% sulphur and extra heavy - offshore. No way that has any value. Will never be developed.

Peru and Suriname are committed wells. Guyana was only options.

Rig has to go to Africa in September.

Peru results April. Suriname spud May. Results August. End of campaign - rig departs.

Its shaved their explo/appraisal budget down to just 75m USD now. TLW said long before that the options were appraisal drills for Jethro/Joe. As these are both dead in the water discoveries, no need for the options.

You know the score........write up a nice CPR, billions of barrels potential......its coming next year Rodney - keep following the carrot.........

ECO not impressed with lack of ongoing drilling confirmation in Guyana. Better to drill in a country where there are lots of earthquakes really ref Peru. Maybe Peru is more important .....bit odd no more ref re Guyana. That heavy oil could be valuable in the US btw.

Those figures based on 60$ oil.Just moving that to 65$ oil represents a massive figure. 75,000 x 5$/3.84 =288,000 pounds x 365 = Let you see the figure.

Sirrux yes........look at GKP a few years back - thats a good example of how cruel lenders can be when a debt deadline is approaching - they want their slice of cake - at the expense of the shareholders.

Lenders come first when the debt is due for repayment - shareholders can have whats left over.

Guyana defer to 2021 was to be expected......do the work on making the prospects sound good in 2020 and thats a carrot to feed the donkeys going into 2021......got to keep the hope factor up - but dont actually drill it in case you burst the balloon......

DT will not revise her guidance upwards unless and until she has agreed the new Jubilee field development plan with the partners...and I don’t blame her. The sharp eyed amongst you will see that capex is committed to Jubilee to resolve production shortfalls but no benefit is assumed in the numbers. Furthermore, there is no discussion around the gas offtakes which Ghana has failed to utilise. I am sure the conference call will discuss this and hopefully provide some reassurance that the government of Ghana, who have appointed a committee to resolve the situation, have made some constructive proposals. The impairment is a prudent reflection of long term oil price assumptions and is sensible. The Government of Uganda is obviously close to agreeing a deal so i believe this will be the short term catalyst to propel the share price.
Bearing in mind how transparent the Chairman has been in describing the issues affecting the Company, it is perhaps refreshing that there is no voicing of concern re the balance sheet. Post any Ugandan deal the restoration of a dividend will be back on the agenda although it is safe to say that most of the short term proceeds will be used to offset the RBL facility upon which the reserves are secured.
All in all. No further shocks. I suspect the narrative on Guyana and Suriname prospectivity will be more upbeat in the conference call. I have NO DOUBT whatsoever in Tullow’s ability to secure very attractive farm out proposals for its acreage...it is literally surrounding the worlds hotspot in exploration right now. In my opinion the smart boys will cautiously re enter the stock if they think the worst is all baked in.

80000 at say 70 will deliver much higher FCF than 70000 at 60. Cautious to put pressure on Ghanian Gov to take more gas. BOOM in coming months IMOV
