Falling again.
IMHO any downward trajectory in the next hour may lead to a close below 50p. Worrying times.

Anyone else feel they’re being played?

Hmmmm

Revenue £1.7bn
Gross Profit £700m

What's the Net Profit/net earnings forecast?

More importantly what's the debt maturity profile of this $2.8bn debt?

Agree Stumpy

i do a book of continuous 30. Manage the garden and only replace a tree when another is dead.

ANd it probably takes me on average, 30 mins a day total to do that book

Different reason for me Badger, it's actually true that the less I do, the better my decisions tend to be, profits follow. It means I've got a lot of time. Although this is full time for me, most of my effort goes into doing nothing. Probably sounds weird, but it's true.

Same conclusion, the fall will be significant, the sell off over 2weeks ago in which it subsequently rose again during the day told the story. Any downward trend will see the PI running for the hills. There appears to be a significant number of very nervous punters out there and they’re ready for the fall. IMHO Today’s statement was poor as was the announcement on the 3rd/6th.

How come all you investment gurus who project such wisdom have time to be posting on a message board? If I were so knowledgeable I'd be wealthy and not have time to waste on the lesser mortals. As a wise man said: "if you so good why are you not rich"?

I can see lots of common retail supports

i think they wil suck them dry and once retail buying exhausts a bit, 40's comes rapid on an open or something

The market open was vital smartie, along with volume

Down, with volume was markets interpretation of the data..any rise just retail thereafter

As I’m writing it looks like it’s already started. My last look at the share price it was 62p but just looked now on the up to date and it’s approaching 58p.

Tricks?

SR, just reading Tullow, I came to the same conclusion reading the statement this morning and then watching the moves. I feel the PI is being drawn I’m ready for the slaughter. The worry is once the selling begins this could be driven significantly lower.

For the moment, there hasn't been a meaningful rise in price, just a relief 'rally', and a small one at that. Price looks to remain at risk to me and I still think we'll see 41 area. Not sure how fast though.

I would not be surprised if there was not a big placing late 2020 or early 2021, like the 750m USD one done in 2017.

They need to seriously get that debt down and not get anywhere near possibly defaulting.

Tullow are also implying long term a price per barrel of $65

Very high assumption
