And I wish I was checking it pre 70% drop. Was easiest short in the world at 232-217

So I missed initial call. Assessed the low. Was it still for shorter? Yes

I went short at 59p in truth. A while ago.

But no interest in taking the dips.

I'm after at least 21p initial here

Il exit 80p though. Wouldn't like that against me

White's do you respect any financial institution? Retail or Investment grade?

Everything they use is in essence borrowed. ..

Mostly clients money

Gambling with borrowed money, and yet you then provide "Investment advise".
Guys like you really are ten a penny and can be found in bookies up and down the high street.
Borrowing money to gamble is IMO not a good idea, but if it suits you then so be it.
It is what causes massive spikes as witnessed this morning as these gamblers now get margin calls.
You missed a margin call as you clearly held no products against TLW.
Had you done so you would have been out and owe money.
If someone held 1000 shares, they would still hold 1000 shares..

Owning something is a good feeling. It removes stress and worry and if you cant afford to lose it then you really shouldnt be in it.
But to borrow money to try and win some is in my opinion the most dangerous games to play.

Then gold I pay into an etf monthly at any price until spot hits 1800. Do that via a built up isa

Whatever works on the one you are entering

Not much point buying something you think can do 10% in a week and pay tax . When much more gain to be had say in a spread on that one etc

Well you have to have money to get margin too

I buy normal way too. Just depends on the outlook. What makes sense be it quarterly financing v tax on holds etc etc

Leverage used properly actually means less risk than a standard investor

I can hold £100000 of a stock for much less capital. . And using a calculator. .the percentage moves equate to exactly the same as a £100000 buy really risk reward.

Thats a great and bold statement to make.. And very indicative of those that would rather borrow money than save and own it..
Why work and save and own something when you can borrow is like Sentimentrules

Leverage used correctly, protects you from company collapses. Lose 10,000. Not £100,000..

As with anything in life, a product is safe in one set of hands. Dangerous in another. That includes normal share certs

Pathetic...
You really are pathetic.
Thats akin to saying we will explode when oil hits $100 per barrel, which is actually very very likely..

The Carapa oil discovery suggests the extension of the Cretaceous oil play from the Stabroek licence southwards into the Kanuku licence. The 27 degree API oil supports the significant potential of the Cretaceous play on both the Kanuku and adjacent Orinduik licences.

SIGNIFICANT: Not just one license, but extending to BOTH Licenses..
Gamblers and those using borrowed money (Leveraged products) and those playing the in out in out shake it all about game with stop losses will have followed the herd this morning and rushed for the cliff.
The find and extension of the oil play is of SIGNIFICANT interest...
