02/1/2020 09:04 | kirk, sorry late response. Would not be surprised if Guyana was now kicked back into the long grass. Unless someone takes 40% of Orinduik off their hands in return for at least a free well, or whatever a farm out is worth. | ![]() xxnjr
02/1/2020 09:00 | Guyana is just a position in a portfolio of opportunities for Tullow, as such things are for all oil companies. To drop 17% on today's news given a) this is a small component of the total portfolio and b) this is the first chapter in a book about this asset is the pinnacle of hysteria. great buying opportunity | ![]() dealy

02/1/2020 08:55 | Take a minute to reflect: For what seems an eternity many people have been encouraging people to "Research" and understand the company they are "Gambling / Investing" in. Understand the licenses, understand whats being produced, understand the partners, understand as best you can what it is you are putting your money into. Today we have witnessed yet again people bailing and doubtless recording significant losses, only for 10 minutes later the share price to recover. There will never be any stopping the herd mentality, and the scourge of the stop loss gambler... Many of the in out in out shake it all about gamblers will have lost the gains they were bragging about and it will provide time for new in out in out shake it all about gamblers to brag about their "Quick in and outs" (Doubtless followed by a recommendation to take a look at another stock). Investors: Such as myself and colleagues also took advantage of the drop caused by herd mentality and added more.. However you will not find us bragging about quick in and outs as the stock will be held for fuller fruition and less stress and worry... | ![]() whites123
02/1/2020 08:48 | xxnjr, indeed. This will turn out good for TLW if it means they forget Guyana now and concentrate where they need to be concentrating. In its current state TLW does not need to be wildcatting - they need to focus on production and generating cash. | pro_s2009
02/1/2020 08:46 | Assume that with all the disappointing news over the last two months, the fixed assets will have to be written down on the balance sheet to reflect the change in dynamics! | ![]() bookbroker
02/1/2020 08:46 | Quick in & out 53-59p, assess later, meanwhile (TWD) is one of my star picks for 2020+, not a trading stock, just for accumulating on the cheap imo, dyor as usual. | ![]() ny boy
02/1/2020 08:45 | You could be right pro. But anyway the market seems to be looking beyond Guyana now. What will re-structuring bring, get the debt down, offload burdensome committments, shrink the company and its payroll. | ![]() xxnjr
02/1/2020 08:43 | cashandcard2 Jan '20 - 08:30 - 38746 of 38748 0 1 0 Pro 2009 They got a sub optimal spot. They need to address the modelling and go back after recalibrating seismic with actual data. Exactly..... And with proven extension of the oil play into the Kanuku licence it now supports the significant potential of both the Kanuku and Orinduik licences. (Our resident Line drawers will doubtless miss this, whislt I suspect individuals and Analysts like Samuel Dossou-Aworet may understand a little better.. Stupmy2 Jan '20 - 08:29 - 38745 of 38748 0 1 0 What do you think about my last guess whites? ?????? What do I think??? Nothing... I think nothing of it... If someone as you say "Guesses" and posts so many "Guesses" he is bound to be right at some point.. Pathetic is what I think if I really was to sum it up in one word.. Clearly more important to you to get a "Guess" right (After making 20 guesses) than to understand the geology and importance of todays announced find. (Is it time for you to move on now?) | ![]() whites123
02/1/2020 08:43 | Drop over done, picked more and it looks like the market agrees | ![]() ch1ck
02/1/2020 08:40 | Cash, yes they do. But their current modelling suggested Carapa was the best and thickest of the Cret targets. If your best turns out to be bad, it obviously bodes not good for the others. I see long delays ahead for any future work commitments in Guayana, if at all. Dont think they will be drilling in their operated license area in 2020. | pro_s2009

02/1/2020 08:33 | If you make countless predictions all the time with prices all over the shop, both above and below the current SP, then you are bound to get a "right" guess at some point. | ![]() xxnjr
02/1/2020 08:29 | What do you think about my last guess whites? You can go back and check it yourself, but I suggested 52 p and that that might not be the bottom. I wasn't using the 'whites' technique and as you say, the methods I use are nonsense. But it's nonsense that avoids a lot of losses and provides good profits. Wake up Whites, wake up and go and do some work with an open mind. Or, double up again so you can that tightness in the pit of your undercarriage feeling every time you invest. | ![]() stupmy

02/1/2020 08:25 | Nice to see so many Oil Experts again. "Told you so" and "This XYZ stock is where you should be now", "Sod this Im off to a proprely run company".... :-) Good Bye... Good Luck with your new gambles.. In the meantime... Opportunity provided further additions at just above the 50p level. One person you will not see selling is "Samuel Dossou-Aworet"... the ones you will see selling are lots and lots of < £1,000 trades... :-) | ![]() whites123
02/1/2020 08:25 | Looking to the future. Todays result will underline the need to get back to basics. Spend the money on sorting out Ghana. I'm sure thats what the company will do now, and that can only be good for the share price going forwards :) | ![]() xxnjr
02/1/2020 08:19 | of an already obliterated share price | ![]() dealy
02/1/2020 08:18 | Carapa was supposed to be the thickest and best lower target. If their seismic is way out and their thickest target ends up with LESS THAN 4m of net pay and is a total failure - you can see why TLW did not commit to anything more and will "decide" in future about Guyana (AKA we are not wasting anymore money there with wildcat explo wells) | pro_s2009
02/1/2020 08:18 | Madness that having 37.5% in a duster is worth 20% of the share price | mccracken227
02/1/2020 08:17 | Result is good geologically as it derisks the block. Now if they can locate where it is in economic amounts. That is likely the way forward here.Agree with others here, they need to offload the East African assets, monetize and reduce debt asap. Cash | ![]() cashandcard
