Carapa is a duster, why would there be such a drastic shake up required, if it wasn't. It will be announced very soon.

If not a duster, heavy oil with high sulphur content thus not commercially viable.

Maybe you should work for Repsol with such a fantastic insight... And marvelously you have established its heavy oil with high sulfur all from the comfort of your bedroom.... Brilliant.....

Unless Carapa is a duster

I read this kind of thing yesterday, even with some suggesting that the Ex-CEO and Operations Director had inside knowledge it was a duster and had walked...

Really? They were "PUSHED" for a start and Repsol are the operators... Essentially suggesting Repsol was leaking and Directors were acting fraudulently..

To much Fake News these days... No wonder we see instances like yesterday where people find themselves in trouble and follow the herd.

In days of old where people actually "Owned" all stocks paid for with hard cash, and we didnt have up to the minute data and lies peddled 24/7 at us even when sitting on a toilet via mobile devices the stock would have barely hiccuped.
Technology is great, but as seen yesterday can be evil...
Many thousands of people with their savings wiped out. Many suddenly facing margin calls for gambles gone wrong... But we still have the lie peddlers and the gloaters who want nothing more than to see more carnage. (Whilst all the time telling us they have no financial position in TLW themselves)

Whites, the problem is that you're doing exactly the same thing now that you did when you bought after it dropped from 240 to 145. You're convincing yourself that it represents value. You are in the grips of a bad case of confirmation bias. That announcement was very important yesterday and the market understood it. In an ideal world it might have been nice the share price rerating was more orderly and that might have meant it didn't go so low, but it did need to rerate. Now we have to find out where the market believes this represents value.

I do not disagree with you that the share price needed to rerate.
But I do not see, cannot see any justification whatsoever for the fall we witnessed.
To suggest that I am in the grips of bad case confirmation bias would suggest that I should have sold... This is the very worst situation one could find themselves in (IMO) running because the rest of the herd are.
Fortunately I do not use leveraged products and won what I buy, therefore I will never be a distressed or forced seller.
The sheer amount of sells pushing through yesterday was a domino effect on PI's. Savings, pensions, CFD's, SB's etc all compounding. We saw ourselves people saying "Im in" then "Im out at a loss"..
IMO, Crazy gambling... I spend many many many hours researching my picks, and when the sum of parts exceeds the debt then its a no brainer.
The sale of an asset or two could wipe debt from the books.
TLW is not about to go bust nor is it on the ropes.
Its a producer generating FCF.
Mechanical problems will be sorted.
News will be announced.
I have never made money by following herd mentality.
I have however made money by reaffirming my decisions via research and entering when others are rushing for the door. In part I owe a large chunk of my funds to PMO. Every man and his dog was spreading fear and doom, I saw an opportunity just as I see one here.
If any has check-able, solid proof of distress then I would certainly read, digest it and act upon it.. But currently TLW is the victim of technology and easy cash available for wannabe gamblers (IMO)

Bull trap. Be warned! MM will suck you in and spit you back out. Fear and Greed at work last two days. But with 3billion debt would you buy it for circa 700m, heavy oil, directors walked, and oil price close to peaks. If oil price drops just imagine the carnage.
