Same with Youinvest, didn't get full £10k. A bit peeved.

I don't blame Trinity actually. Iweb could have taken the trouble to data sort the applications and scaled back those applications over £10k but clearly too much trouble for them to do so...easier to have the disclaimer regarding scale backs which of course they had and readily quoted. Did not expect anything different but a surprise to the upside after this costly debacle would have helped soothe the pain.

Royal Mail and similar privatisation offers favoured smaller investors, but I guess that wasn't through nominee accounts.

Trinity are being advised on placing and whats possible, so that's what they will have gone on with RNS. But maybe advice was bad.

Ummm either way not very good. Don't know who to blame, the company or the brokers.
Was hoping for some possible positive press comment over the weekend and wouldn't want all this confusion to muddy the great story going ahead?

...and there you have it...they have been treated as a separate nominee application over the limit and scaled back with everyone else...no £10,000 minimum applies therefore.

any rights issue is proportional to the holdings... so I cannot see how the allocation should not be proportional to holdings in this case also. so this is where the rnas was surprising... I would say they may allocate up to 10k proportionally to holding and the rest dunno how.

Not yet DH...but they will have their iron clad reasoning for sure

So that certainly wasn't minimum £10k per head? Did you query this?

Well Iweb have allocated 15,437 shares to my account out of the mere 50,000 I asked for...circa 31%...I should be grateful of course for those crumbs I have been thrown..but I am not

if they cannot manage to allocate shares, how can they drill for oil in the right location? no wonder they need lots of capital for drilling...

Since I like knowing what happens I called II and they said:

1) the company has not provided the shares on 12th as expected.
2) they asked the company what happens and they have not confirmed neither amount nor date when the shares will be available

this to me is quite unacceptable.

Thanks for your thoughts Esmerelda...still waiting and hoping the guys at Iweb got out of the right side of bed this morning and don't punish us for the football result :-))

David and Christina Segel Living Trust 33,917,256 12.01%
Angus Winther 23,065,178 8.17%
Gavin White 22,657,015 8.02%
Interactive Investor Clients 19,128,92 6.77%
Hargreaves Lansdown Asset Mgt Clients 16,951,243 6.00%
Scott Casto 12,443,112 4.41%
Bruce Dingwall 12,215,498 4.33%

I doubt they would give 10K £ each to II and HL!!

The key is in the words "each applicant". If iWeb Nominees are considered to be a single applicant then you can see how they would only have been given 27% of the shares applied for. (This is also my nominee). I applied for £10k but would not be surprised to get £2.8k shares and a refund of £7,2k. I would not blame iWeb if that were tthe case. The alternative interpretation requires iWeb (and all the other nominees) to have submitted a list of all the individual applications rather than a consolidated total. I don't think they will have done that . Ideally you want to be with a nominee who only had one customer holding and applying for TRIN shares in the offer then your luck may be in!Just my opinion and obviously hope I'm wrong.

Depends. We are trading at 1:1 turover ratio, they might be valued differently. Not an expert in oil but if company makes profit and trades at less than 10x profits then its undervalued. My rule of a thumb

CERP Heading for £35m MCAP, makes a mockery of TRINS current MCAP. Things hotting up in T&T and as per my earlier post the NEW TRIN is perfectly poised to capitalise.

uapatel...the conversation I had with Iweb was did not fill me with confidence but I am still hoping your (and my own) interpretation will hold and they will do the right thing by us relatively smaller investors.

That seems contrary to the RNS,

...that each Applicant who applied for Offer Shares will receive the full amount of Offer Shares applied for up to an application value of GBP10,000. Thereafter, applications have been scaled back proportionately according to the value of the application in excess of GBP10,000 and the balance of Offer Shares available.

My shares are in a nominee account, but assumed based on the RNS that I would get my full allocation, 20K shares (£3K).

It's a bloody debacle.
I think there is some chap on lse crl123 who has spent hours on the phone to his brokers etc.
Everyone should have their allocations by now and if not it is plain wrong!

Yes uapatel but each broker can interpret the allocation of their own large holding nominee accounts as they wish
