At last a day of great posts. I find it really interesting people's differing thoughts on a potential share price. When cb come to toms rescue there was talk of his target for tomco of being £1. Ski who is as well informed as most has put in his header "at least 50p and possibly £1" Peter Epsteins thoughts are anything between 15-20p. He claims that the board want between 20p-30p. I have seen an email from Sk stating he thinks the holiday block is worth uupwards of $5pb. There is little doubt the closer RL get to production the more our shares should be worth. We have had absolutely no hyped up share price at all. There are so many companies with massively inflated sp's. We dont have to search for our resource. I just can't see the board accepting anything less than 20p and if RL are close to production why would they sell the oil for anything less than $10pb?

Get away with you?

Is that a fact? And you say TOM is worth 100p a share

And skidboy agrees with you so it must be true then!
TOM has 1.5 BILLION SHARES IN ISSUE so according to you and skidboy TOM is now worth £1.5 billion. I believe you!

(It is always best to agree with out and out nutters - otherwise they might turn nasty and start stalking you)

"Peter Epstein left a $3 billion hedge fund where he was a senior analyst to focus on, and invest in personally, a handful of natural resource companiesin which he has a high conviction.. In each case, the company in question has a lot of cash on the balance sheet, is in production or close to it, has a relatively simple or at least proven logisitcs chain and in most cases is an ideal takeout candidate. The risk/reward profile on these stocks is heavily skewed to the upside"

lol! Is this guy for real or what?

Where exactly does Tomco fit in to his investment model?

A lot of cash in the bank? No!

Is at or near production? No!

Has a relatively simple or at least proven logisitcs chain? No!

Is an ideal takeout candidate? Definitely NO!

Somehow I doubt it. Stocks always go higher and lower than anyone can rationally imagine.

Always.

PURDY1,

best of luck to you, but imo, this will probably be your worst timing ever to sell.

Nothing wrong in selling and best of luck to him/her but they were such childish posts. I'm surprised he didn't end with 'so there!'

Yaris, noli, rmart, etc., do NOT mean well their aim is to deceive potential investors in to believing all is plain sailing once the permit is ratified - this is untrue!! The permit now in dispute is only a conditional permit anyway but those individuals will insist that it is a full permit and RL can go in to full commercial production once they get 'living rivers' off their back. This is not the case - the conditional permit when ratified only allows RL to set up a full scale production demonstration to prove that the ecoshale system will work without the use of water or cause toxic contamination to the ground water and the flora and fauna in the surrounding area.
IMO, the JV partner will not sign any deal or invest money until RL first prove ecoshale works at full scale commercial level. If a multinational has signed as claimed by the rampers why has this important news not been announced officially? Questerre have said they will invest but only when the partner put the $400m in first so if Questerre have not invested we can assume that the multinational has not done so either.
There are too many if and buts with Red Leaf to invest in TOM for the long term at this stage. If Red Leaf fail TOM is done for - TOM's future depends entirely on the success of RL - TOM have no control over their destiny and for that reason is not a company to invest in until they are in control of it.
