The CHAIRMAN in his exuberance did not mention placings but nevertheless has tried to stoke the fire.
How much cash does TOM need? It is unlikely there will not be a placing imminently - could be tomorrow as time very short and if / when it will be a BIG NUMBER. IT's the last throw for the BOD and they need a price bounce today. Watch the body language, particularly the eye twitch which most accountants develop. Then you'll be ahead.

Vauch, I am not sure. PQE will stay delisted until their accounts are verified. I am not sure if there is a time limit on losing the listing, they could be expelled if the accounts don’t add up.

actually reading through it again and again there are a couple of new positive comments.

1."These are exciting times for TomCo and I am particularly pleased with the considerable progress that has been made in recent months with our focus on Greenfield Energy LLC ("Greenfield") and its plans to pursue the construction of an initial 5,000 barrels of oil per day ("bopd") production facility at the earliest opportunity.

2. "I remain optimistic, based on discussions to date, that the process can be completed and the required funding secured."

one thing is for certain, we will know within 3 weeks. I doubt there would be this positivity had they not already got the agreement for the cash for the initial 10%.

Lets see.

They cut and paste exactly the same words as last week's RNS re funding and you read this as a development. It is literally the same section of the RNS from last week. And you have invested in this sham and you cannot read an RNS? Dear me.

Yes, not a lot new, but well-written, and I would say positive progress.

I am not quite sure what is going on at PQE. Can anyone with an auditors knowledge, please explain in simple language? If they are having AUDIT problems, they cannot list, by default TOM, should become the number 1 target. Aimho.

Good setting the scene RNS this morning ahead of the AGM. Reassuring that the land purchase will be part of the finance package arrangement so that is very positive and a significant development.

Vauch, jaynealex, sue999 and Talais, are you reading the same RNS as me?

I read through it all at 7.00am and knew I had seen it ALL before.
How can this be addressing some of the BB questions if those are the answers they were already published?
Or is it that the previous RNS's were not even read?
Why get at all excited about an RNS that was a repeat?
As far as putting any work in to an AGM statement , 2 minutes cutting and pasting is not impressive.

No it does not you numpty. Quite the contrary it clearly states that the 10% deposit is subject to funding and makes no statement as to where this is coming from. What you do know is they do not have the cash in the bank to pay for it as your leader Damac had been trying to present as fact.

Yada yada yada! Same old trite nonsense. They have cobbled together an amalgam of a number of old RNS all heavily caveated with coulds, shoulds and maybes. You must read and sensitise yourselves to the under current of nuance in these RNS. Whilst they are knowingly stringing you all along, they cannot outright lie, so the excited hyperbole is always tempered with these type of auxiliary verbs. They never write ‘will’ or ‘can’ etc. Why because it allows the stream of excited rhetoric without being held to account by it. They can write outlandish claims of future intent but know in a court of law they cannot be held to account for deceit using this type of language. But again you will not see this. Lambs to the slaughter. Ask yourself why there are no sharp suited institutional investors today just a few chancer PIs dressed like they are going to a wedding reception at the local working men’s club.

Well it clears up one thing that is a constant for the other thread going on about a placing to cover the land purchase, and we now know it will be par tof the financing package not a placing, so now that is cleared up what next for the other thread?
