02/9/2021 09:55 | Richard Horsman is Chairman of Toople - who lost £2.9m in 2018 and 2019 combined... | fenners66
02/9/2021 09:49 | Fenners Castro is a friend of GROAT and has quite a few directorships if you follow up. He was brought in to deal with the funding apparently - whether he is working with POTTER or on his own? Has he been in UTAH? Perhaps he tells POTTER what to ask for? Accountants can be the worst at managing companies. Oh dear! | lopodop
02/9/2021 09:42 | As stated in the accounts : M Groat is a Chartered accountant Companies House has him active as a director But also CASTRO, Louis Emmanuel - Chartered Accountant appointed this year. Now he may be a specialist in something else.... or they just need 2 accountants ?!? EDIT : he's also a director of Stanley Gibbons - but also not the CFO there... | fenners66
02/9/2021 09:39 | Fenners Groat is a generous chairman - hence £150k for Jones. Another payment to Bob this year of £30kish. When Potter goes he'll be in for £250k and of course GROAT and CASTRO may require £30k ish. Remember success does not enter the equation; if you fail it's quite rewarding TOO. Of course Groat knows most of the investors are simple so it is fair game! All the issues you are coming up with were raised here months ago but RMART and SL were quite upset that these points were being raised. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK - lot more to discover and by way GROAT is apparently known on record by 2 names. Nothing sinister but a little bit unusual. Also an issue at Companies House re filings but auditors have not raised it so what the hec! | lopodop
02/9/2021 09:30 | Excluding the A Jones remuneration Dirs Rem for the last 6 months is about 40% HIGHER than the previous year ! The Group had no other employees than directors in the last Full year.,,,,, | fenners66
02/9/2021 09:27 | Bear in mind in that year the vast majority of the loss was incurred in the UK | fenners66
02/9/2021 09:25 | That's got me reading the accounts. I know this has been alluded to on here before , but A Jones Directors Remuneration £250k !! incl £150k for loss of office !! They lost a £m and added more than £m to intangibles ! How the F does someone get a remuneration remotely that high with no income and massive accumulated losses ? | fenners66
02/9/2021 09:10 | Fenners You are on the right track but have far to go! | lopodop
02/9/2021 08:49 | Hotfinance, I don’t think they have a section for someone that crazy. | goulding1215
02/9/2021 08:46 | Since there seems to be a bit of discussion as to how good the directors here are I thought I would look them at Companies House. I guess I'm part way , but the Tomco Plc at Companies House has lots of appointments and resignations, lots, but the last accounts there are 2009 -odd? I know it says it is an Isle of Man company , but if there is secrecy over the accounts why list current movements in directors? So went to the last accounts on here , there I read.... " Malcolm Groat Malcolm is a Chartered Accountant and has a wide range of experience in corporate life, with roles as Chairman, Non-Executive Director, Chairman of Audit Committees, CEO, COO and CFO for a number public companies. He is an adviser on compliance and governance, strategy and operational improvement, and managing the risks of rapid change. John Potter John is an accomplished Chief Executive and project manager with many years' experience working within the energy sector. John brings a wide range of skills, knowledge and industry connections. His proficiencies in understanding and identifying best technologies in projects and his proven abilities in developing relationships with stakeholders, including operators, politicians, financiers, technology providers and regulators, are well proven and have brought great value to the companies he has previously worked with. " My point on those two , is "a number of public companies" "many years experience" but None of the companies are named. Why not? | fenners66
02/9/2021 08:09 | Ace...you should be sectioned. | hotfinance14
02/9/2021 07:46 | Ace go back to the other chat board where no one is interested in Tom | vauch
02/9/2021 06:53 | TD Most will know the answer. The sellers saw GROAT and POTTER coming - crazy Brits! | lopodop
01/9/2021 21:13 | Fenners on Reichsmart's thread is probing at an interesting area - why do you pay a deposit for a piece of land that no one has shown any interest in for 7 years. Just a theory, but TOM is a one man band and it is difficult for one man to be master of all. In this case JP just did not have time to think it through. In most cases reality is very uncomplicated. | the diddymen
01/9/2021 20:58 | WILSON2 AIM NEEDS URGENTLY TO LOOK AT THIS OPERATION. | lopodop
01/9/2021 18:59 | You all have a chance to get out of this money robbing share before it completely collapses , I wished I had done that years ago, but I also believed what the directors were telling me , this legalised theft | wilson2
01/9/2021 18:44 | In hindsight I am not surprised we were down after our 1 month delay RNS. | ducky fuzz
01/9/2021 18:25 | Classic Tomco, rns and down. | rmart
01/9/2021 17:30 | Mixi on good form on LSE TOM keeping the plebs in their place with his size 10s: "Once the £2,000,000 is paid, the rest will be paid over a period of time by debt finance stop spreading false rumours, if you read rns." "Crags does not mention a placing either. So, your figures all fantasy, Art. A lot of words on mere guesswork and lies." Is this the same plonker who struggles to distinguish assets from cash? Think so! | the diddymen
01/9/2021 16:06 | So are we dropping back to .43 again. douse my head in this one. | vauch |
