09/3/2022 15:11 | Thanks John, up to 163p not sure why the above is delayed. If it closes at this level, a rapid rally to £2 is on the cards imo. | ukgeorge
09/3/2022 14:45 | UKG Me to re Twitter. They often post chrome prices with the basket updates. There is a post on Mar 7th stating SA chrome ore at $207.5/ton. Last year it was mostly around 150-160 so a significant uplift. If you look back further there is a post about China ore stocks that are very low currently so prices likely to be high for some time. Also see | sailing john
09/3/2022 14:21 | I hate twitter but logged on and found the below but couldn't find chrome prices Tharisa plc @tharisa_sa · 7h Good Morning Tharisa Basket Price Platinum $1 150.00 Palladium $3 028.50 Rhodium $21 114.50 Gold $2 023.03 Ruth $474.46 Iridium $4 408.01 Tharisa USD $3 445.64 | ukgeorge

09/3/2022 13:16 | Heading through the 2016 highs, looks like just blue skies above, zero stale longs, so little resistance until £2. Rhodium and PGM's prices all doing very well. Not sure about Chromium Roll on the continued run up | ukgeorge
04/3/2022 16:15 | gold, oil but not pgms ? pgms belong firmly in that list so doesnt make sense to me | martinfrench
04/3/2022 15:27 | I have banked a very nice profit here today Liquidated a lot of stuff today Didn't want to be long anything that is not gold or oil over the weekend | ntv
04/3/2022 15:15 | More important to us rhodium is up around 8% since Wednesday and rh percentage rise, at 60% of our basket, is four times more important for us than the equivalent palladium rise, (15% of our basket) I make the basket total now $3375, not surprised however that we are having a bit of profit taking today afte 60% rise since Nov, though tempted to buy some more, but resisted as already a third of all my shares and over 80% are PGM or PM miners I must be mad, though not this week | sotolo
04/3/2022 14:10 | Palladium up 6.5% today so far | riddlerone
03/3/2022 21:02 | My guess is, that if you see big time buys in Evraz, Polymetal and Ferrexpo. Someone is just about to put a bullet in Putin! | eggbaconandbubble
03/3/2022 15:19 | I was also an idiot, bought a 1000 evraz, and added 3k polymetal. Again not a huge amount of my portfolio. I also sadly have more norilsk :( which have dropped to zero from $25 also can't trade them since the sanctions. Seems to be that the market is pricing in Russia confiscating any foreign owned shares. Not sure how this would work. Very annoying week. But at least these are a ray of sunshine :) roll on £2 | ukgeorge
03/3/2022 14:54 | Also interested. I also bought very few Evraz too yesterday. 0.01% of portfolio. Probably a silly move as won't move the dial whatever happens. Couldn't bring myself to risk more | scubadiverr
03/3/2022 13:29 | TIGER BY YHE TAIL. If you are reading here what is your view or Polymetal etc, given your knowledge | sotolo
03/3/2022 13:27 | Buying and selling at 160 at present A further move up is imminent | basem1
03/3/2022 11:31 | But fall now less than the divi so we are still rising! | sotolo
03/3/2022 08:23 | Ex div today Hence the fall | basem1
02/3/2022 16:14 | quote from Laurie Williams: - " We would thus revise our earlier year-end palladium price forecast hugely from a rather pessimistic $1,350 an ounce, down from the current level of around $2,500, up to $3,000 an ounce if the Russian sanctions stay in place, which we think they will. This would be quite a change in our expectations and move palladium from the bottom to the top of our precious metals price growth predictions for the current year. This all demonstrates how geopolitical events can change the market and pricing picture almost overnight!" | nimrod22
01/3/2022 17:20 | Their twitter feed said PGM's over $3k | ntv
01/3/2022 10:10 | Lovely jubbly, breakout is well and truly on | ukgeorge
25/2/2022 22:56 | …or is this a long term double top, we shall see shortly, I am hopeful it is onwards and upwards…but nail biting time | sotolo |
