29/10/2021 16:05 | Martin - There is a link via Tharisa Twitter posted yesterday (lucky page 13!) | sailing john
29/10/2021 16:02 | hopefully someone can post the shares mag stuff here ? | martinfrench
29/10/2021 15:22 | We appear to be getting noticed in the PI world with the most recent buy tip in Shares Mag - well done to Tharisa IR and CEO for presentations etc to investors. More significantly there is some buyout activity in the Sector as the cash rich larger players look to invest for the future. I'm expecting THS to be a target at some point given the life of mine and low PE. The family + Directors hold over 40% so I assume this will only happen when they are happy with the price and timing. I'm happy to wait as I think they can build more value over the next few years via Karo and other opportunities. | sailing john

20/10/2021 22:37 | Registered but unable to watch. However the slides are already posted on Tharisa website. Mostly similar to previous presentations but some new info and a good slide on broker forecasts. All very positive for further progress over the next few years. Remains my largest position by a big margin. | sailing john

19/10/2021 09:26 | Looks like yesterday's volume has cleared a blockage Market keen to take it higher today | basem1
19/10/2021 09:17 | Just to point out there has been a fire at the Richard's Bay port terminal in South Africa, in the section for the export of chrome / manganese. I'm sure this will have some effect on THS - but maybe it won't be a big one. www.iol.co.za/news/s | tigerbythetail
16/10/2021 08:58 | Yes Tiger, looks like next year as well, but there is debate about whether and which PGMs will be in surplus/deficit, Phoevos sounded optimistic and there have been some interesting links on LSE even the pessimists predicting a $2000 basket. Our basket currently about $2600 following this weeks pull up, from $4300 at the peak. I think in a way we are psychologically lucky THS didn’t rise as we all thought it should have, so it is only 20% off the top, much happier that my goldies | sotolo
15/10/2021 16:46 | Auto industry supply issues roll on - and it's not just chips. Magnesium (in which China have a near monopoly) is now the latest item in short supply. Euro car factories may run out by end November. www.zerohedge.com/ma | tigerbythetail
14/10/2021 10:43 | Delayed start to strong move north today. The value here has been obvious for a long time but is still not recognised by the market | deadly

12/10/2021 09:30 | Record quarterly production! Well done to all at Tharisa | jon4567
12/10/2021 09:26 | Copied from Affan on twitter LTH and chartered accountant. THS paid $23m in dividends this financial year + c$105m in total capex (including c$55m for Vulcan) and still had a positive net cash generation of $73m. The EV is <£300m. I don't know one miner with better fundamentals. | ianb5004
12/10/2021 08:48 | Absolutely cracking update from the company, so impressed! With the car chip situation to now improve on a ongoing basis and thus increase demand for PGM's, things are looking good here.On the whole, not sure why we would try to find negatives with this super update, the company appear to be performing exceedingly well. | tonytyke2
12/10/2021 08:13 | Thanks Tiger, yes lovely production figure and predicted up again next year. Just interested on what the impact of higher costs will be, and Vulcan investment on this year’s NPAT, in ball park of $100m? | sotolo
12/10/2021 08:08 | Hi Sotolo! IMO, "as expected" in mining = very good news! I make this a very strong quarterly report, with improved guidance for next year as well. All onwards and upwards. I have no concerns about Tharisa's performance as a company. (I do have macro concerns, however - especially about China. But that's another story.) | tigerbythetail
12/10/2021 06:57 | Report as expected. However cash is only up $6m in this amazing PGM quarter (mainly Vulcan investment but also costs) and costs must be up quite a bit for ths to say of chromium “Prices will need to remain at these levels for most producers to remain profitable and continue to invest, as shipping rates have dented margins, with the global logistic industries continuing to be impacted by the pandemic and challenges with supply chain management.” | sotolo
08/10/2021 14:03 | Thanks for the update on chrome price it should help against the fall in PGM price Cheers ntv | ntv |
