19/5/2021 08:55 | Crazy undervaluation, with a decent dividend of well over 4%. I've added. | brucie5
19/5/2021 08:47 | 6.8p div (based on full year) would be welcome | farnesbarnes
19/5/2021 08:40 | Last year THS paid 3.5c on 16.2c EPS. That is equal to 22%. Previous year was 0.75c on 4c EPS or 18.75%. As we are already at 22c EPS could we expect the payout rario to increase to perhaps 25-30% or 5.5-6.5c or 4-4.5p per share for H1 ? Would certainly be in line with expectations. | rogerramjett
19/5/2021 08:30 | Regardless, these figures over last year show huge performance increase. The market has to wake up to this at some point. A little frustrating but it will come. | rogerramjett
19/5/2021 08:29 | With the additional cash from earnings it would be nice to see a little more returned to shareholders. I know 15% is minimum but that gives them a divi cover of 6 which is huge. Perhaps look at doubling the dividend leaving 3 x cover in the pot. This would still allow significant growth and investment. | rogerramjett
19/5/2021 08:20 | Up 4.82% on the JSE. | gsg
19/5/2021 08:08 | I'd be satisfied to see 160p at this rate. 34p EPS is a PE of 4.4. They should start up a loss making pizza delivery division, then we might see a rerating upwards. | farnesbarnes
19/5/2021 07:55 | I think on those figures profit for the half around $57m which would be £80m a year so a PE of 5 and a divi of 3.5% However they should be better at year end if metal prices stay up as the last half was based on lower metal prices | sotolo
19/5/2021 07:31 | If this doesn't double from here in short order, I think I'll give this game up. lol | gsg
19/5/2021 07:24 | What is the size of the overhang? | melody9999
19/5/2021 07:13 | I have been watching THS a while and took a position this morning. Those are quite outstanding numbers. My main concern was and is country risk but the earnings cannot be ignored. | drdre
19/5/2021 07:11 | Would Imply EBITDA at 45% H1 and probably running at 55/60% for H2 | croasdalelfc
19/5/2021 07:09 | Amazing numbers. | someuwin
19/5/2021 06:09 | That trading statement is very much at the top of my already very bullish expectations! Implies an EBITDA from for the first six months of over $130m I think. | overeager
19/5/2021 05:44 | Tharisa PLC on Wednesday said it expects to post a significant rise in earnings for the first half of its financial year, on the back of improved production in the second quarter. The Cyprus and South Africa-focused platinum and chrome producer said for the six months ended March 31, it expects basic earnings per share to come between 21 and 22 US cents, a near sevenfold rise from 3.6 cents in the same period a year ago.Headline earnings per share is set to rise to within the same range, compared to 3.7 cents a year before. | ddubzy
18/5/2021 17:57 | Maybe a small positive sign of some potential movement, with the £10.65k UT trade at the close and the £85.08k delayed buy printed at 5.05pm going through above the offer price at £1.49. Will keep a close eye on L2 and the trades tomorrow and see if there's any follow through on the offer. | gsg
17/5/2021 17:41 | Neither copper or platinum are going anywhere fast imho. Copper - so everybody is shouting electric cars, however the average electric car only has around 40kg of copper in it. So in the normal house there is the immersion cylinder, the copper piping, electric cable and wire, electic motors, brass handles etc. So you say, what about the cabling up of the charging points etc? Um well, you can cable in aluminium, another good conductor, and a lot cheaper than copper. For many years a lot of washing machine motors have used windings of copper plated aluminium. Lets take a look at Platinum. Ooh yes its money like gold, get excited and wet yourself. The reality is around half of the Platinum mined is soaked up for investment and around half for end use consumption. The problem is that there are huge amounts of investment Platinum locked up in vaults as investment and those stocks can be sold into any substancial rally in the price. Like gold the price is slow to move and quite stable. If you want something to invest in follow the charts. Afternoon gents. Ruthenium up another 16% today from Friday. Here is May from the JMM site. On the question of the relevance of a substancial rise in the price of Ruthenium which we seem to be starting to see. .................... (2) Revenue (6E) for Q3, before adjustments is $59.2 million (6E prill split is Pt 47%, Pd 17%, Rh 9%, Au 0.2%, Ru 21%, Ir 5%) .................... As I understand it from the above, in terms of mass Ruthenium constitutes more than 20% of Sylvania's Noble metal output. I use the term Noble metal since Gold is in there and gold is not a Platinum group metal. If I am right then some posting on this thread need to reajust their thinking | freddie ferret
17/5/2021 15:59 | A little top-up for me at the close - at 144.99 | compo62
17/5/2021 14:51 | To be fair, Aug to Nov 20 was similar. Results soon. | farnesbarnes
17/5/2021 14:46 | It's like pulling teeth holding this at present | basem1
17/5/2021 09:11 | We should get a good indication of expected results this week because under JSE rules a company has to issue a statement if there are any material changes in results in relation to the corresponding previous period. | moneyman50
17/5/2021 08:15 | The two largest shareholders have been selling so it isn't strange. Bloody annoying though, hopefully the results will do the trick and an increased dividend to around 9p would help. Every day with these elivated metals prices the company is making great money. The company is also ramping up production so, fingers crossed we just need the market to wake up :) | ukgeorge
16/5/2021 12:47 | This one is lagging the other two, which I find strange. | podgyted
15/5/2021 16:44 | I bought in here this last week to add to my SLP and JLP PGM metal investments. Expecting price increases across all 3 over the coming weeks and months. Metals are the place to be invested in. | haywards26 |
