Well, the Chinese probably got what they wanted in terms of a decent spot discount and are very probably stockpiling for the forthcoming chip supply.

23000 on metails daily. but would imagine rh being very very lumpy in terms of orders being taken and suppliers coming to mkt, therefore it will swing quite wildly.

i doubt whether there is steady buying daily and steady supply coming to mkt

GSG np. Its the smallest of my 3 holdings ;)

The fact that Kitco, BASF, JM and Tharisa are so different may suggest how thinly traded and volatile the Rh market is. Or perhaps bid/offer / spreads?

I'm thinking Kitco are out tbh.

The Kitco price has to be dollars IMO, the price on the other PGM is ballpark right, but i don't understand why the rhodium price is so different from JM price.

Well, only after it dropped 10 percent yesterday. What I am trying to figure out is how much price is going to be set by spot prices of the metals mined on these miners and how much on the actual performance and long term prospects and management of the companies. Interested to know people's views.

Not a great sign that sellers are not waiting for results. Almost as if news has been leaked.

hopefully, rhodium also now down to 16500, 135p was the previous breakout area so hoping for support there.

The delayed after hours sell trade of 160,761 for £217,000 will hopefully be the end of the overhang. Maybe the reason for today's fall.

Yes ukgeorge but now we reap the benefit of our price not having risen with rhodium. Our profits will be about 20% lower than earlier in the month but our share price is only 7% of off, as it never gained the final 20% it should’ve. Now is this a big correction pushed on by the Chinese words, or are we going back down to rhodium 5000 or even 2000, from where it came, but even then our share is still reasonable value at current prices, of course dependent on whether chromium holds up as we would be a chromium miner with some pgm on the side

Why the fall? EPS lower than expected?
