05/5/2021 07:47 | Not sure if this has been posted before? | farnesbarnes
05/5/2021 07:20 | low capex but not terribly exciting Tharisa incurred an amount of USD2.0 million on the initial exploration programme. Based on the results of the exploration and metallurgical test work, an internal discounted cash flow model produced a net present value for Salene Chrome East of USD6.9 million premised on a life of open pit of seven years, annual chrome concentrate production of 80 kt, a medium term chrome concentrate price of USD252/t CIF China, capex spend of USD5.0 million and applying a discount rate of 11.8%. Salene Chrome, as an exploration stage asset, is not presently income producing. The nature of the special grant areas allows for a project that is a scalable open pit operation which can be brought into production on a low risk and relatively low cost basis in a short time horizon. The Salene Chrome project is located in a Special Economic Zone, which permits the import/export of capital without any trade barriers. Benefits beyond the expatriation of capital include a reduced tax rate, duty-free importation of raw materials and exchange control facilities. | ukgeorge

04/5/2021 13:31 | think ths has always been like this, i'm more used to slp, but one day you wake up and its added 60p in 3 days slp far easier to read | martinfrench
04/5/2021 12:30 | Indeed martin. That's my hope Just been trying to get under the skin of the trading characteristics of THS on L2. With such a small normal market size the mm's are able to delay just about any decent sized trade, which makes it difficult to read. Also there's been so little daily volume recently, so any II seller has nothing to sell into at the moment. All very static on the L2 front. | gsg
04/5/2021 12:14 | gsg, dont think its possible to be a jonah here, ths are that good | martinfrench
04/5/2021 11:56 | No worries. I'm a newbie here, but beginning to think I'm a 'Jonah' to THS. Since the moment I bought in it's been like watching paint dry. Normally I'm very patient. Been in JLP for five years. lol | gsg
04/5/2021 11:54 | Thanks GSG. Looking for Rh to beak 30k soon. | farnesbarnes
04/5/2021 11:29 | martin. The RH deficit info comes from Tharisa's last presentation. Slide 16. | gsg
04/5/2021 11:24 | Basket through $4.1k | sailing john
04/5/2021 11:17 | SPOT PALLADIUM SOARS TO RECORD HIGH OF $3,008.10/OZ It's odd that THS is being held back here. Rh has been very strong too. | loglorry1
04/5/2021 11:16 | The RH deficit for 2012 is -162k ounces and -335k ounces in 2022 according to BASF. | gsg
04/5/2021 11:12 | gsg, do you have a good source for that deficit projection ? | martinfrench
04/5/2021 09:09 | What is the Rh deficit in 2021? It shocked me that the deficit would be so high for so long. One would assume the basket price remains elevated and the company throws off cash accordingly. Not discounting the next world crisis. | farnesbarnes
01/5/2021 14:37 | Positive for THS that the Rhodium deficit is due to peak at -411k ounces in 2024 with deficit remaining at -398k ounces until 2029. THS is effectively a rhodium mining company for the mo. | gsg

29/4/2021 15:26 | I'm hoping this plays out like KMR Kenmare, which consolidated for a long period before having a rapid rise. 10-11p dividend would be pretty nice :) | ukgeorge
29/4/2021 12:52 | A dividend of around 4.5p to 5p would be nice. At least that's what I am expecting. Followed by a final dividend in 2022 of 6p plus. I don't think that's out of the question and would certainly leave them in the 15% range that is part of their dividend strategy. | rogerramjett
29/4/2021 10:01 | Thanks UKGeorge. Dipped my toe in the water with 12k shares. | gsg
29/4/2021 09:12 | just had a little top up 2,051 @146p. GSG, I think we would only be guessing. Nice reasons could be that they are now overweight given the share price rise. A not so nice reason could be that they could believe this is the top of the market for rhodium and PGM's in general. Whatever their reasons it is providing a good opportunity (fingers crossed) I'd love for the dividend to get a nice increase in May or maybe even introduce a share buy back. Only about 20 more trading days till results are out. | ukgeorge
29/4/2021 08:26 | I'm an occasional lurker here, looking to invest in THS, but currently have a decent holding in JLP. All looks good here. The only question I have is that there are two II's reducing their large holdings. Can anyone give a heads up as to their strategy? Are there any clues as to their intentions? Are they looking to completely clear out or have they reduced to current levels for a specific purpose? All thoughts welcome. | gsg
28/4/2021 20:50 | Also good to see these large trades dropping through. Cannot be much left in the way now. Fair value must be achieved shortly. | rogerramjett
28/4/2021 19:55 | Even more so as I topped up my isa earlier today! | scubadiverr
28/4/2021 19:54 | I'm impressed that they are so on the ball and their IR are interested in what is being said | scubadiverr
