There are loads of investing and trading strategies. It's always interesting to hear other people's opinions/viewpoints. If you don't like it stay of the forums. If you are a buy and holder over a long time p

Exactly. Why use a thread if you are not interested in the opinions and dealings of other folk?

Same question, why do you feel the need to share what you've done, likely no one will care a hoot!

Why would anyone be bothered what you buy & sell at ? Can't see why anyone would buy & sell. I am up 400% on these since I bought them 5 years ago I have never sold any as I don't see the point. I invest for the long term. so long as these increase by say 20p per year (as they have done on average) I am more than happy.

I've a cumulative +10% profit on my TW holding but I cannot identify a better option than to simply let it run, especially when the good news keeps coming ref Barratt's results :))

Yes! Two massive buys in TW & BD late on so I anticipate good things to come. Otherwise I might join Eastbourne LOL.

Don't panic, use the dips to top up........160 by next week and pushing 200p by the year end are my thoughts.

lostuser. As long as the quick drop is followed by another new high I'm happy with it!

Following yesterdays fine figures from BVS came todays stunners from PSN. The shares immediately got caned by around a quid and I was fortunate enough to bag 3,000 at around the 1615p mark. Wonderful when you consider they are making a capital return of 95p to holders on the 19th March, payable early April. These are heading for £20.

BDEV tomorrow I think and TW. next week. Boom time.

Sorry I digress. TW. is my largest holding in housebuilding which in turn comprises 40% of my portfolio.

We are an island with a rapidly growing population and lots of old and decrepit housing stock. Whats not to like about housebuilders?

Cover any general downside with footsie CFDs as and when its necessary.

imo the market will remain unstable due to the headiness of the US market and the uncertainty re whether Greece will be the beginning of the end of the EU Euro!

"Help to buy should be renamed help builders sell overpriced property and
Increase prices...how long can this go on"

Good comment, I hadn't looked at 'help to buy' that way before. It does seem 'help to sell' would be a more appropriate title in the current circumstances.

That should be a good thing if you can't find a reason. If you check the chart every new high was preceded by a quick drop in the share price.
