There’s 3,253.46 million shares on the market of which a massive proportion is held by Institutions that paid less than 30p a share so it’s hardly surprising this gets sold down at every opportunity, especially when it has such a poor dividend record!!

Housing market is in a massive bubble that's bursting and you cannot
Compare tw. In 2008/2009 as share structure was different

I wonder why! The last interm management statement looked promising! And housing market is also on a recovery path. Hope it's just panic selling!

There was a broker rating from Jefferies with a 121 target price and a hold recommendation but surely it's not just that. All the house builders seem
affected

Why this Sudden drop today morning? Is it some sort of tree shake?

Looking at where the TW share price was in 2007/8 it suggests we have along way to go to catch up. PSN are already there it would appear.

I'm beyond caring, there's lots of other investment opportunities that are not contently being shorted so I'll shift my cash as soon as the price permits, 135p will do.

Markets across the EU and in the US looking grim atm, should be a good time to buy for those with cash in the pocket, unfortunately that's not me :(

G'morning HB, I don't suggest my method is right for everyone, my circumstances allow me the freedom to play the short game whilst a FMC looks after our Family finances.

I got off to a good start in 1998 with a share that went from 50p to £12 in a very short space of time. I've never managed to repeat the event but the fact that the same share dropped back to under 30p in an equally short period of time taught me to set targets and take profit when targets are reached or better still exceeded.

Good luck in 2015, as you say this sector has much to offer atm.

TKU, gbh2. Interesting.

5% is very nice if you can make it quickly.

Personally I tend towards buy and hold and take the divis
and occasionally topslice before reaching selling point.

I do this on the basis that I seldom get my timing totally
right for buying or selling but if I am strategically sector right
then it doesn't matter.

Right now holding housebuilders is a no brainer and the selling
time is some way away.

TW is one of 6 stocks tipped by The Share Centre to prosper in 2015 (along with house-builders generally though TW specifically)

battue, my last purchases were 128.4 & 131.2 they were right for me at the time, which means cash came available via selling other stock.
As I remember one was linked to a profit on Sainsburys and the other to a profit on Morrisons.

One things for sure the larger daily swings will be a thing of the past now we are in the ftse100. More of a slow plod , not that I mind that.GL
