Historic measures it's in a massive bubble propped by near zero rates..help to buy
Madness and money printing.....all of which can change on a dime

figis, I think you will find a lot of instis selling the construction sector shortly, re weighting before the end of the tax year.pretty much as last year, weve had a good run lately. you pays your money and takes your choice as they say.gl

I hope to be holding for the two divis but I'll sell tomorrow because I think there will be a lot of profit taking on Tuesday and it could end the day red.

Hope to see £1.50 this week with the results due on Tuesday. Confirmation of a dividend of 8.46p this year including the special dividend would be good. Wherher it would hold above £1.50 at the end of say March is in the lap of the gods. Still a yield of over 5% is an excellent return in this era of very low interest rates

It's clear from the trading patterns that HFs are trading this down, their greed is as great as their buying and selling power, all we can do is ride the wave in whichever direction!

It's a good strategy if you get the timing right which it appears you have....one
Of many strategies

Ever heard of investing for income by way of dividends Taffee? It's not always about the profit on the sale. This years dividends alone should give me back a third of my original stake.I've been in TW since Dec 2008 and won't be selling any time soon as there is still lots of potential here, both in the form of future dividends and yes, a profit when I finally sell.

Bought at 31p and you haven't sold?...why hold for the 'jackpot' when you are already there...only a profit if you sell...Look what happened in 2007/2008

I bought in at 31p, and have added as when, including investing the divs.

The problem now is if it drops, like 5p, I feel mortified as it's like 3K off my portfolio!

I'm hanging on for 2 quid, before I start drip selling.

My interest is is a retirement hobby, sure I like to make money along the way but I'll generally sell anything for a 5 to 7% profit and when I tag something like TW I'll buy and sell as long as there's institution interest that creates sufficient volatility to make trading worth while.

As for long term investments, I'll leave those to our family Asset Management company.
