05/3/2014 22:11 | FTSE operates a reserve list for the FTSE 100 Index, to be used in the event of a corporate action occurring between reviews e.g. merger, acquisition, delisting or suspension. In such cases, the reserve list constituent with the largest market capitalisation (on the date of the corporate action) will replace the outgoing constituent. With immediate effect, the following reserve list for FTSE 100 will be used (in alphabetical order): 3i Group Berkeley Group Holdings Direct Line Insurance Group Merlin Entertainments Ocado Group Taylor Wimpey | mike456
05/3/2014 22:09 | The reserve list is normally used for forced changes to the list in between reviews (usually merger or acquisition removing a current constituent, occasionally company collapse [eg Polly Peck]). | stevefoster

05/3/2014 10:51 | TW.highlighted on one of IC's value stock screens yesterday as one of only 16 stocks passing their "value and growth" test. This is a short snippet from the article: ... but the market was unimpressed that Taylor Wimpey has set itself a lower bar for shareholder payouts with a special dividend of just 1.54p planned for this year followed by 6.15p in 2015 and probably more thereafter if the market remains strong. My screen, however, is not interested in exactly how a company's underlying value is distributed and has simply honed in on the strong growth forecast and robust financial position the company now boasts. | bluerunner
